Our server, Kim, was fantastic! The food was amazing! The only detractor was that the app only let us book on the “outdoor patio” but I called the restaurant and they set us up inside. The atmosphere is a little loud since they play all sorts of fun music so not a great place for a quiet, intimate date but it was a lot of fun for my wife’s birthday!

Made a reservation for brunch, menu looked promising. The restaurant was loud as balls, since they had a dj in main seating area. Opted for the library area, but it was still somewhat loud. Their prices are extremely high when compared to the quality of food they served. Ordered the lobster jar for an appetizer, which had a lot to be desired of. Tasted like frozen lobster tail pieces submerged in a half cup of butter. The brunch burger was definitely not made fresh in house. The patty was tasteless and gave the sense of a frozen patty from Costco. The bacon was great and the fries were tasty as well. The eggs Benedict was pretty good but the breakfast potatoes were flavorless and needed salt. I was disappointed with the experience since this place was highly recommended. There are too many options to go to for brunch that don’t cost $100 for sub par meals. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

Everything was ok but for the cost I expect more in regards to quality and service. Service was a bit slower than what we’re used to. We were not rushing in any way but multiple times we were wondering where our server was. The loud music pumping through the restaurant from the bar area was a bit perplexing as well. Made it very hard to hold a conversation. The parking which is not fault of the restaurant is something to plan for as well as it’s difficult to find an open spot on a Friday night. We won’t be back. Too many options in the area at the same price point with a much better experience.

Our server was very sweet but also very busy as not enough servers. Took a while to get refills etc. sadly the food was terrible for the prices. Cold eggs, lukewarm coffee, store bought bagel, etc. the biscuits on the biscuit board had a very eggy smell. While I do appreciate sure that some people like a dj brunch it was so loud that we could not hear each other speak nor could the server hear us.probably a one and done here.

Our waiter/ server saved what was going to be a horrible review. He was actually the only positive about this experience. But, whoever the red headed older lady is at the front (I’m guessing she’s a hostess) is terrible. I had reservations for a birthday party, which I called about and specifically asked for a special table and was reassured it would be ready. When I got there, she told me the table was at the very back and literally just flicked her wrist and pointed to the back of the restaurant, but did not walk me back like a good host should. Ok, whatever, I figured I’d just find it myself, but when I got there, there was a man sitting there. Alone. I went back to the front and told her someone was there that wasn’t in my party. Then she tried to give me another table that was in the middle of the restaurant where it would be loud, not tucked back as requested. No apology or effort to accommodate at this point. A few other people arrived and sat down at the back table that was supposed to be for my party. She could tell I was annoyed and only then offered to ask the other people to move. To which I replied “ yes, please “. The other party, was also annoyed at being asked to move and some rude lady from their group made a nasty comment to my friend whose birthday it was that we were celebrating! Here’s the thing; The difficulty of this situation could have been EASILY AVOIDED if anyone at all had a clue about how hospitality works. The restaurant was literally EMPTY when I got there, with the exception of the man sitting at our table. Any of the 6 employees standing around watching could have stepped in and accommodated both of us, but instead waited until things became complicated with other people from both parties arriving and not knowing what to do. This was totally unacceptable at an establishment of this “caliber”. For the prices of the (sub par) food, people expect a certain level of customer service at least equal to or better than at a chick-fil-a.

We went for date night and enjoyed the meal. Drinks were really yummy. Lobster Jar app was great. We also had the bacon & eggs app which was good… just very simple and what you’d expect for deviled eggs & bacon at home. (Nothing fancy or unique about it). My husband tried two diff bourbon drinks, the Colombian (which was okay) and the Rare Books Barrel Pick & he loved it. I had the Eye of the Tiger. It was yummy. The Chicken Paillard was fine. Nothing special. The real let down was the fact that they had a speakeasy attached that was the reason we had gone. We had no clue there was eating on that side. So we ate dinner with the expectation for drinks afterwards only to find out that the speakeasy side (Rare Books) was on a 30 min wait. We would’ve gladly ate on that side had we known. Or at least we would’ve been on the wait list while we finished our food. It was kind of a let down so we went ahead and left. It was an expensive meal, and even though it was decent food, I don’t think we’d return. Not for the amount it cost. We spent over $200 on our evening, we shared a plate, had two apps & 2 drinks each.
