Javier's Irvine Spectrum serves original Mexican cuisine. Opened in 2004 and located close to the 405 and 5 freeways, the restaurant offers numerous entrees and combo meals. Javier's Irvine Spectrum selects and serves only the freshest ingredients, including sustainable and in-season seafood, natural chicken and center-cut #1 prime Angus beef. Every dish is prepared fresh to order, and guests may sit in the spacious main dining room, on the intimate patio, at the bar or in a private dining area.The dining room is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. Javier's Irvine Spectrum's full bar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Reservations are accepted.

Great as always for upscale Mexican that is very tasty and a nice vibe of a restaurant. Went for a business dinner.

The servers were great and attentive throughout the night. I enjoyed that we were able to get a private room for a large party. However the hostess in the front was rude multiple times despite us just asking questions. The manager was friendly and was able to seat us quickly after our party arrived. Food was ok however for the pricing you’d expect more exquisite tastes.

We try and eat at Javier’s when ever we are in Irvine and they never disappoint. This trip we had a big group for Volleyball and Martin made it happen. He sat us at multiple tables but got us in on a Saturday night. The service at Javier’s is as amazing as the food. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for and you get a lot. Well worth the MONEY!!!

I’ve been coming to Javier’s since he opened in Laguna Beach almost 30 years ago. I have only ever ordered Enchiladas de Mariscos from day one because I’m convinced it’s the best plate of Mexican food in existence. However, the realization that this plate has gone from $9.95 to $42 and now no longer includes avocado slices or (gasp!) rice and beans is incredibly disappointing. If you want rice and beans that’s an extra $12 (yes, $12!) making this dinner now a whopping $54 - for ENCHILADAS! Will this stop me from coming here to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, fantastic service and my favorite meal? Nope, absolutely not - and they most certainly know it!
