   The food is excellent. Some fusion dishes. But everything is a la carte. You don’t even get rice with your entree. Very small, the owner Jaz was behind the bar and is very gracious and welcoming. Good wine list. Very expensive. Worth it for a special occasion

   Jaz is our favorite Indian restaurant in NYC. Whenever we are in the area, we make a point of dining here. The food is excellent. We can always count on a warm welcome and impeccable service. 100% recommended!!

   Food was overall very tasty, the samosas and mango shrimp were awesome. Lamb was a little dry and the portion of Chicken Korma was a bit small. Have to pay upcharge for rice which was a little strange. Server was nice, but a little unattentive. Other staff members made up for it though.

   Not our best experience for a first visit. The table seemed small, but par for the course when visiting small restaurants. Ordered drinks and food simultaneously, but some things did not get to the table at the right time. Had to ask for Mango Margarita, which came unblended. Food came, but the poori did not. I happen to like eating my dish with a wrap of poori; by the time it came (after having to again ask for it) half my quite salty Achari Tikka was either eaten or cold. Overly oily poori. And yes, the table was too small. Mango shrimp was tasteless. Lentil soup was ok; a little watery. Onion fritters were also ok. A perfunctory visit by Jaz herself after all the above was... perfunctory. The last straw was being double charged for the drink. Nothing here to make us return!

    I have eaten at this Hell’s Kitchen Gem, several times! It’s my go to spot for high quality Indian food! Jaz, the lovely owner, formerly from London, always remembers and greets me, when I arrive! I highly recommend this excellent restaurant!
