Jimmy's Chophouse located at 34th & Peoria delivers world class steaks, chops, wine, & cocktails paired with top-notch service in a comfortable yet sophisticated dining room that harkens back to some of the classic chophouses of the past. The culinary team of Ben Alexander & Audrey Long butcher all of their steaks & chops in house. Menu highlights include the 10oz Bacon-Wrapped Filet & the Veal Chop Parmesan served with Spaghetti Pomodoro.

Open for lunch & dinner 7 days a week. The latest McNellie's Group offering is proudly serving its Brookside neighbors & as well as friends from far away.

We split a steak which arrived perfectly cooked and as tender as Mother's Love. An interesting presentation was the slicing of the 1/2 steak, rather than a single chunk of meat. The creamed spinach was not as warm as expected, but was still tasty. Shrimp cocktail was as good as any in Tulsa (and there are several that are extraordinary), although the cocktail sauce was a tad spicier than what we prefer.

The food is excellent, and the service is good. The last two times we’ve been our entrees has taken a very long time to arrive after placing our order. Last night we arrived at 7:00 and didn’t eat until 8:25. There was a good 30 minutes gap between our appetizers and main meal.

My fish was hot. My potatoes and sauce were cold. So it was disappointing. My husbands steak was bland. And his mashed potatoes were cool.

My first visit was for my birthday which was very enjoyable. The service was excellent from arrival to departure. Not only did they have a birthday sign on my table but they had planned a meal for my dining partner who is required to eat a vegan/gluten free diet. I even got a free slice of cake at the end. The steak and salmon were great, baked potato does cost a little more if you want all the toppings though. The chopped salad was excellent as a starter. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have bread as most every other steak restaurant does but one of the appetizers is a focaccia with a balsamic/sun-dried tomato dip which was a reasonable alternative. This was a far better experience than I had at another local steak house for my birthday last year so I’ll definitely add it to the rotation.

Our first visit to Jimmy’s, my partner and I stopped by for dinner prior to a show downtown, and we were very impressed! We had made a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server, Hayden was great with his recommendations from the menu and answering questions. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms to share and found the five pieces plenty for us. The filling was savory and smooth with a touch of decadence and, paired with the house cocktail, were delicious. I ordered the Korean marinated ribeye with seasonal veggies and my partner the KC strip. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly to our liking. My only complaint with our experience was the speed of service. We were seated at 5:45 and the appetizer arrived at about 6:20. We apologized at this point to Hayden for not telling him earlier in the service that we’d likely need to be out the door by 7:00 to make our show but he was more than understanding. Our steaks arrived shortly after but seemed as if they’d been sitting in the window for much too long. Again, they were cooked wonderfully, but were a bit cold to the touch. Even the sauce on the vegetable medley had started to congeal a bit from being left unattended for a while and the fries my partner ordered with his had lost their crunch. I feel most of this could be attributed to being a busy Saturday night, and we will certainly be back for another visit to Jimmy’s as the food and ambiance both really are excellent.
