The entire experience was super frustrating. As soon as we arrived, the first representative already pressured us to look at the menu even before having our table ready. They took around 10 min to get any beverage order and after this time waiting we were informed all the tasting and barbecue items were sold out. It is a shame and a kind of amateur situation we would never expect for a Ritz Carlton and Michelin star restaurant. We ended up ordering the food from the A La Carte menu and some items were not even available. Some minutes after the first plate arrived, we decided ordering some extra food due to the small portion of the plates. However, we were informed we couldn’t order because they closed the kitchen but they suggested us to visit the bar at the hotel. It was a pretty bad joke the entire experience and the suggestion. While we were eating the first plate, they brought all the other plates together and seemed completely rushed for us to eat and leave the restaurant. We showed up on time and we were at the restaurant less than 30 min, no one informed us the kitchen would be closed.
This was definitely NOT a Michelin experience, food was completely below average in terms of quality and presentation. I have been in multiple Michelin restaurant around the world and, with all the respect, but Jin Xuan is far from the caliber of quality of service and food compared with any other restaurant in the guide.
I will definitely NOT go back to this restaurant and I will share some photos in other platform and so people can understand how bad the experience and food were.
