Exceptional service. Very friendly staff. Hospitality element is definitely there. Food was good, not great. For the price it is upsetting. Very limited cocktail menu. And the execution was good but not great. For a very limited food menu the expectations were quite high but unfortunately did not deliver. Sandy mushrooms/fresh garlic was also unacceptable, which were taken off our table and bill. 3 stars a bit harsh but just cannot give 4.

The food and service were outstanding! Very comfortable and friendly staff. Food was prepared well and seasoned properly. Food was presented nicely. Homey atmosphere adds to the comfort level.

Couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent experience. Attentive staff and very knowledgeable service. I brought friends from Ottawa and they were floored by the experience. It made me look soooo good, but the staff made our night. Table location (10/10), graciously served (10/10), every single detail felt curated. I LOVE JBeef.

The food was not bad, but absolutely not what we expected from the restaurant's reputation. Everything was average, from the choice of the ingredients to the combination of flavours. The best dish was the salad, which says a lot, and all the rest was underwhelming. Service was very good though, and the place is nice, but too noisy. We would have been fairly satisfied if this was a corner family restaurant. Value for money is clearly very low.

Everything was on point from the taste, presentation, quality of food, and the excellence of service!!!! The only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that 20%+ provincial tax and what ever that other Canadian Tax was. I still tipped 20% which made it 40% out of pocket. I can see why Canadians are known to be bad tippers because I would tip less too if I lived here.
