   We had a lovely evening at Joe Beef’s. They were even able to accommodate us when our flight was delayed, so missed our original reservation slot. Excellent service, warm hospitality and outstanding food. The oysters and halibut were standouts for the evening. Would recommend and will definitely book again when in Montreal.

   Service was phenomenal. Had a bit of a hard time deciding what to to order and our server made some great recommendations to fit our preferences and group size. The food was decadent and rich - I've never been to France but this is what I'd imagine real great French food to be. We had the hanger steak, lobster pasta as mains, and then some Boston scallops, oysters, and a jambon dish. All were so indulgent and satisfying. Cut it all with a cocktail and an ice cream dessert.    Quite a culinary experience. After all these years they still deliver top quality and variety. We did not even look at the menu. We simply advised them on allergies and told them surprise us. What a feast

   I'd been here once about 8 years ago and had a very memorable meal. I then decided to take my parents out here for dinner for my dad's birthday. They are both very picky about food. They were so thrilled with their meal. They did a nice but not too over the top birthday acknowledgment. The meal was fantastic. The music was maybe a little loud but both my parents are hard of hearing and had no trouble during the meal.

   Although this place lived up to some of the hype, it felt a bit overpriced. The strip steak was good but could have been better, yet the exceptional service truly elevated the experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome, making it a spot worth visiting.

   Overall very good. Good service, they forgot our lobster with the halibut, had to send it back, no biggy although expectations are high when the reputation of the restaurant is as such as Joe Beef's. Excellent wines. For the rest impeccable. Cheers!
