Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

The food wasn’t awful but I’ve had better, the waitress there kept changing the order to HER preference instead of just writing down what we ordered bc SHE thought it would be to spicy. They barley give you any sauce and the whole time we were there we weren’t offered not one single refill on our drinks and 3 out of the 4 of us only had water

Joe’s is our favorite place for seafood when not at the beach. The food, the drinks, and the service are impeccable!

We eat at a lot of seafood and compare the restaurants. It was our first time eating here and we asked for a boil. Assuming that the boil we ordered would come out in a bag we ordered it. I explained that we are use to a spicy ole bay cayenne mix that is what we like. It was recommended to get the sunset fire grill sauce. The boil came out in a pot and had a small amount of spice sprinkled on top and we get sides of butter. We are use to the boils coming out with a lot of soupy sauce already made in the bag. I got the ole bay seasoning she received the sunset fire. I was disappointed that I could not really taste my food the spices were not enough for me nor was it spicy. She received the same set up but with different seasoning but her seasoning smelled awful and tasted weird. She usually eats all of her seafood but she pushed away and did not finish it as hungry as she was. I found to be odd then shortly after she says my stomach and rushed to the restroom and then hit me later.

Very nice experience. One of my king crab legs was empty and our waiter SHANE took care of it... I got a whole new cluster of legs. AMAZING. I traveled from Northern WI to eat at a Joe's and stay awhile. Joe's (SHANE) made the experience a wonderful one. Thank You!!!!!

Captains platter Stuffed crab was not good. Staff agreed they have not received good reviews on it. The fish was no better than Long John Silvers. Paid wayyy too much for this plate. Wife’s shrimp platter was much better, and cheaper. Manager tried to make it better by giving me more of the tiny shrimp…by that time my meal was ruined.
