This flagship JOEY location is an impressive 9,500 square foot North Shore oasis that features two stories and an iconic patio space of 2,450 square feet, all set on the Lower Lonsdale waterfront with unparalleled views of downtown Vancouver.     This location is absolutely stunning. The views of the harbour especially with the christmas lights are amazing. We had a reservation and were able to get a lovely seat on the heated patio. Our reservation was at 430.By 520 we had all entrees and appetizers without a single drink. We asked 3 different servers and they were all checking. I ended up leaving and my husband packed the food to go. It was so disappointing to have a planned date without children and needing to beg for a glass of wine. It's very unfortunate and kind of ruins the experience needing to ask over and over again. The lovely hostess approached me upon leaving to ask how dinner was. She insited on speaking to a manager. The manager was very apologetic and offered wine although the experience was already ruined.

    We were seated in a booth upstairs last night. The service was not timely (especially for drinks) last night. Most of the time it’s been great in the past, but the service last night was not the best.

    We had kindly asked for a nice table for a birthday and were not given it. We would have gone somewhere else and would have preferred to have been told it was not possible upon booking. Poor customer service

    This was the first restaurant I tried in Vancouver & it was an excellent way to start my trip! The view is amazing & has such cozy vibes all around.

    I’ve been to Joey Shipyards multiple times and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this time, we weren’t seated at our preferred table despite noting our preference in advance. However, our server handled it professionally and offered us a table closer to what we had requested. I’ve always loved their hummus and bread, but this time the portion was smaller, and several bread pieces were burnt, which was disappointing.

    The food, as usual, was excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal at Joeys. But the service, more often than not, is slow and inattentive. And today was no exception. I love your food Joeys, but the awful service might keep me from coming back. Cactus and Brown’s have good food AND good service.
