We had a great time at Joey, Yorkdale. After being seated at a less than desirable table, Paisley graciously reseated us at a much better booth table on the upper level. Food was delicious, service was wonderful and overall an enjoyable evening was had by all at our table. Thank you, Paisley!

Service was slow, no follow up. I was about to not give tips as the service was horrible. But I didn’t do that. I like the food.

Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish! My husband and I were looking forward to a nice evening at Joey's Yordale but unfortunately, it was a letdown from the moment I walked in. Upon check-in, I was told that I would only be allowed to stay for 1 hour and 45 minutes — a restriction that immediately set a negative tone for the evening. Things didn’t improve much from there. Despite requesting a standard seating option, I was seated at a high-top table, which was uncomfortable for a long dinner. The ambiance left a lot to be desired as well. I ended up sitting next to a staircase with a direct view of an elevator, which certainly didn’t contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere. To make matters worse, they had run out of their only Cabernet Sauvignon available by the glass, and the waiter was unwilling to offer any kind of substitute. This felt like a poor customer service choice, as it’s not too much to ask for a similar option when the primary wine offering is unavailable. As for the food, the steak and sushi entree I ordered was simply mediocre. I was expecting more, especially for the price. Overall, it felt like an underwhelming dining experience that didn’t justify the time, money, or the hassle. I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places in the area that offer a more comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.

Not overly impressed with food and delivery of food. Server assumed we wanted individual bills and separated everyone out which did not enable us to confirm the actual order and what we were charged. I was charged for 1/4 Bottle of Wine which i did not have wine. I ordered a steak with no sides - they brought it on a plate that honestly only fir the steak - like someone was going to cut my steak for me. We were placed in a terrible spot on the floor as well. Overall it was at bet okay

Not what it used to be. The birthday girl ate alone. They messed up the order. Manager made it Right but with so many competitive restaurants at Yorkdale not running back so quickly. And.. bring back the old chicken lettuce wraps. The fried ones And fried wontons are not nearly as good as they used to be.

The server rarely came by to check on us. I had asked for a hot water to go with dessert (after ordering 2 bottles of still water, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 main meals and dessert). When the manager came by to give us our dessert, I followed up with my hot water and he assured me that I would get it. 45 mins later, when the waiter finally came by, I said ‘I guess I’m not getting my water after I’ve asked you and the manager 45 mins ago, maybe because it’s a free item?’. He didn’t even remember I asked. With food prices that have gone up plus a now minimum of 18% tip (unless you select other)…people think twice going out so why not have restaurants justify these increases with value? At least pay attention to small details like this. Never going back.

Bar service was very slow. Tables booth had many flys buzzing around. It was very annoying to swat them in a group setting.

Bella was very kind and explained all the ingredients in each order to make sure there were no dietary restrictions or allergies. We received the food quickly after ordering. One of our guests requested an essentially deconstructed meal and they complied.
