JoJo’s ShakeBAR is a next-generation restaurant and bar, and District Detroit’s next go-to spot for hangouts, first dates, and family affairs. Its’ modern, yet familiar, diner experience is grounded in nostalgia and focuses on creative desserts and elevated diner favorites. This location is steps from Fox Theatre, LCA, Comerica and short walk from Ford Field.

Outdoor Patio Seating is available for reservations and walk-ins. In the case of inclement weather, our team will do our best to accommodate outdoor patio reservations inside, but indoor seating is not guaranteed.

Waitress was friendly and attentive, food was good, and for a group of 10 when the restaurant was quite busy the food came out quite quickly. Enjoyable experience.

Service was terrible, waiter did not bring enough silverware, did not bus the table when we finished courses, his pants were sagging so you could see his underwear. Soup and lasagna arrived cold in the middle. Automatic gratuity was added to this check even though the service was poor, management refused to remove the charge. Would never eat here again.

Our waitress was phenomenal! she was very attentive, polite, and had great energy!! 10/10 would recommend her and this restaurant.

Best fish & chips! One person ordered the Reuben and it was a soggy mess of a sandwich and didn’t taste all that good. So she ordered just one piece of the fish and chips and agreed the fish was delish. We didn’t order shakes as they are way too big to order food and then a shake. Wish you could order a small sampler to share at the table without all the hoopla added to the shake.

This is an awesome place the kids loved the shakes !!! And the burgers were delicious as well as the appetizers!!! We will definitely be going back !!! Our wait person was awesome

Fun festive place to eat for a special occasion. Pretty pricey fur both a meal and drink, but overall fun. Wish our waiter didn’t smell so much like weed…little bit of a mood killer for a “family” dining experience.

The pop holiday experience was very disappointing. They were out of numerous drink options along with our waitress was not informative about and holiday specials. The service was terrible we waited 10 minutes just to be asked what we would like to drink. Overall would not return for any occasion along with just a quick bit. Very disappointed in Jo Jo Shake Bar.

Service was good. They were out of ingredients for 2 drinks that we wanted to order. Drinks and food tasted great but it's a little pricey. You definitely pay for the ambiance.

Unimpressed with the shakes. Couldn't order two different shakes as we were told they were not available. Ordered a couple of appetizers but after waiting over half an hour for them we were told they should come up shortly, so we canceled them. The service was terrible. Not sure we would go back or recommend it.
