Junction Tapas & Winebar is Paso Robles' go-to for Spanish-inspired cuisine, bold local and Spanish wines, and Latin warmth.
Located in the downtown Historic Train Depot, Junction offers a chef-driven menu of tapas, seasonal specials, paellas and shareable dishes inspired by the Spanish-speaking world. We are open Thursday through Monday, 11am - 2pm and 5-9pm, offering lunch (and brunch on weekends) and dinner. Specials include our Winemaker Tapeo on the first Thursday of the month and Lunch-for-Dinner Mondays. Whether you're a local or wine country visitor, you'll find a relaxed, flavorful experience at Junction. Stop by. Stay a while.

    Come experience the magic of authentic Mexican dishes during the last three days of this limited-time-pop-up restaurant led by Junction staff cook, Chef Diego. Mexico Ancestral will be open for dinner Tuesday, April 29, May 6 and May 13. The menu represents a style of Mexican cooking that incorporates the meticulous preparation and refined techniques of haute cuisine with traditional Mexican ingredients and flavors. The dishes are flavorful but not spicy; but for those that like it hot, ask for the house salsa.

    Step into Spain’s vibrant Tapeo tradition right here in Paso Robles! 🍷✨ On Thursday, May 1st, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we kick off a month-long celebration of Stiekema Wines with an exclusive Tapeo event at Junction. Unlike a traditional coursed dinner, a Tapeo is a social dining experience where guests enjoy small, shareable tapas paired with exceptional wines—just like the bustling tapa bars of Barcelona and Madrid. Throughout the evening, Stiekema Wine Co. owner & winemaker Michael Stiekema will be pouring a curated wine flight featuring: 🍷 2024 Stiekema ROSE - 60% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre - Floral notes; bright acidity 🍷 2022 GSM - 44% Mourvèdre, 31% Grenache, 25% Syrah - Fruit, spice & earthy notes. 🍷 2022 Springbok - 100% Cabernet Franc – A big wine with notes of maraschino cherry, wild sage & cocoa. Each wine is perfectly complemented by a paired, A La Carte Tapa Menu crafted by Junction Owner & Executive Chef Nick Holguin. 🐟 Ceviche - Fresh halibut, cucumber, tomato, red onion, avocado, capers, serrano chile on a house-made tortilla tostada 🍢 Montadito de Paté de Pollo y Queso Brie - House chicken paté with pistachios, brie cheese, pickled onions on grilled La Brea baguette slices 🍖 Costillas a la Parrilla – Grilled pork ribs, house barbecue sauce, lime vinaigrette slaw 🥘 Moroccan Paella for Two: Chicken, shrimp, dried fruit, nuts, lemon zest, cilantro, Valencia rice, house saffron chicken bone stock Our full dinner menu will also be available. 💥 Love Stiekema wine?     Start your Easter Brunch with a free Mimosa or San Mosa--just like our Mimosa but made with our Red or White Sangria, Spanish Cava sparkling and fresh cut fruit. Check out our website for our complete Brunch menu. It includes breakfast selections, salads, sandwiches and bowls, as well as items from our Dinner Menu including paellas and tapas. Finish off with desserts including our house-made Basque cheesecake, Chocolate Olive Oil Cake & Ice Cream as well as Churros with chocolate or Churros Diablo--an ice cream treat with churros, chocolate sauce, strawberry coulis and whipped cream.

    Food was very good with excellent flavors. However the weak service (serving two dishes prior to bringing out the wine was only one of several misses). Would not recommend at the current prices until the service issues are resolved.

    Had another good night at Junction. Appetizers included the Pulpo, Bravas, Empanadas and all were very good. Nice bottle of Alberino. Server seemed to be a little distracted, wasn't great. Value good for a restaurant in California wine country.

    Loved the pop-up menu. We look forward to trying their tapas menu. Was a big fan of the sauces, soup and ribs. The meat dishes were beautifully prepared and our server suggested a wine that complimented our whole meal. Well done, everyone!!!

    Just passing through town for one night. It was a Monday night and decided to give it a try. Food was on point, Paella was what paella should be, We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and loved the ambiance. We will definitely go back.
