A great evening at KARV. We booked for my husband's birthday and happy to say it was absolutely worth the hour + drive. A nice intimate restaurant, tables a good distance away. The service from staff was spot on. They were attentive without being over bearing. We ordered both tacos and the marrow and the were delicious. The flavours of the tacos were nice and the slaw and sauces complemented the meats. The marrow was (if I may say) sublime! The combinations of flavours was just an explosion in the mouth and perfect with the toast! We ordered the platter for 4 which was a perfect size. Both steak were perfectly cooked/seasoned, the mash melted in the mouth, chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The chicken wings were nicely spiced with a tangy undertone. The chicken was a nice size and tasted nice and had a lovely charred taste, All in all I would definitely be back and would recommend it.

This is a little hidden gem, tucked away in a side street under some flats in Stoke Newington. It’s quite small and you’ll probably need to book. However the food is worth the visit . Wood cooked Bone Narrow, Argentine Ribeye Steak, Cooked to perfection. Limited Menu but what they do, they do really well. Non Alcoholic Mocktails as they don’t have an alcohol license, even they were lovely.

We were a table of 3 and got the platter catered to 4. It was absolutely delicious, I like every single element, everything was well seasoned and tasty! No complaints at all (rare for me to not have any suggestions on improvement) The food was prepared quickly and service was nice and comfortable. There was no loud annoying music, just a nice calm ambience with everyone enjoying themselves and chatting away

Everything was excellent. Food was great and cooked well, sides were lovely. I will be recommending to my friends. Staff were fantastic, always smiling and happy to help. Will definitely be going again

As they were late to give a table although we booked online, the starters were on the house which was really nice of them. Food was great, only downfall the chicken was really hard. We ordered all the starters. And 1 family platter for 6 people.

I booked a table specifically asking for a "nice table". We were put right near the door on the corner where most traffic happens, so every single time someone walked passed, and a lot of people walked passed, I was in fear they'd knock over our drinks or their clothes would go in our food or they'd nudge us. When we asked to be seated somewhere else, they said those tables were reserved. No body was seated there the whole time we were there. Other people who came the same time we did were seated next to us, then moved to a better table. That was disappointing. The floor was extremely slippery to the point we had to put tissues under our shoes so we don't slip, and that too we had to ask for tissues several times as there were none on the table (which was wet!) and when they did give us tissues, they literally gave us 2! Back to the floor being super slippery, and considering the restaurant is extremely crammed, I could only just about take my coat off, trying not to hit the person on the next table and also fighting to keep my balance. The food was below the standard for Karv. The wings were extremely salty and so were the side fries. The half chicken was burnt black to a crisp and very, very dry! It was the only thing on a giant plate!! The sirloin steak was overcooked and dry. The only good things were the chicken tacos, dynamite prawns, the red cabbage slaw, the blueberry and passionfruit mojitos. Compared to the first time I ate at Karv a few months back (where the food was superb!), this dinner was very below standard and extremely disappointing.

The food was absolutely delicious, flavourful , large portions and great value for money. The restaurant isn’t very spacious or intimate in terms of ambiance, however the meal made up for it. We will definitely visit again.
