   Spotty service - inattentive. Forgot things like small soy sauce dishes and chopsticks and kept having to ask for more water. Didn’t check on the table enough. Server wasn’t familiar enough with food allergies to inspire confidence. But Food was very good. Good menu- lots of choices, even for one non-fish eating person in our party. Ambiance and view outside were great. It’s a new restaurant so I’ll wait a few months while they work on the service and I would go back.

   Delicious and unique menu. The service is excellent and the food is exceptional. We enjoyed ordering various things from the menu and sharing with the table. Great experience! Trust the wait staff to guide you, they know their menu perfectly.

   We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Kasumi. The sushi, sashimi and appetizers were delicious It’s a beautiful modern dining room with light wood furniture, open kitchen and simple Japanese design aesthetics. Our server was very attentive guiding us through the food selections and saki offerings. The contemporary art collection hanging down the hallways of the resort entrance is really well done very cool.

   Sushi was fantastic.. Sebastian our server was great and knowledgeable! It is a hidden gem right on the water.

   The food was not good, took forever to come. I had such a bad stomachache that night and the next day. Would not go back.

   I really wanted to love this spot! Based off of reviews we decided to try it out for my birthday dinner. The first impression: modern vibes, fine dining, with beautiful views of Lake Boca. We sat at the bar first for a pre dinner cocktail. There was only one bartender and despite the place being rather empty when we arrived, it took a long time to receive our drinks. We had to ask for a glass of water and forget getting a second round. We ordered a few apps to share and we each ordered a sushi roll. The fried rice and the dumplings were honestly the only edible, enjoyable items we had all evening. We had to send back the tuna tartar as it tasted like canned tuna, super fishy- not how decent fish should taste. When we sent it back the waiter replied “you should have used the sauce on the side”. No we should not have to disguise the taste of the fish with sauce. We had to ask for water and refills many times. It seemed as if our waiter was disinterested and/or annoyed the entire time. All the rolls we had were subpar, truly had to be covered in sauce to have any taste. Very plain. Overall disappointing experience. I truly wanted to like this place, but in the future I will stick with what I know: Yakitori and Sushi by Bou hands down.

    Outstanding dining experience at Kasumi for my husband’s Birthday. Food delicious , service expert, decor upscale and beautiful. They even remembered the candle in our dessert, requested in our reservation. Pricey but worth it for such fine dining.
