Kembara is the latest project from Chef Angelo Sosa that embraces Asian street food cultures, exemplifying the tradition of cherishing time-honored recipes, while also playfully innovating upon familiar flavors and techniques for fresh takes.

The menu is an homage to Chef Sosa’s travels across Asia, with inspiration drawn from countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Singapore and Japan.

Each dish is constructed around Chef Sosa’s concept of a “trinity of flavors”—a balance between sweet, sour and salty elements that culminate in a perfect bite of harmony.

Vegan options were Delicious! We enjoyed the vegetable lo mein, mushroom yakitori, long beans, asparagus, and dark chocolate gelato .Our server Cole was special— so friendly and attentive, as well as knowledgeable and just plain delightful! Our outdoor ambiance by the fire table was perfectly warm and romantic. First rate dining experience. Can’t wait to return!

Service was rough, our waiter was good but too many tables. Food was good. Couple dishes were not working for us, crab for one was marinated in something that was pungent. Atmosphere was good but we asked for indoors and dressed accordingly but they put us outside.

Enjoyed an amazing meal at Kembara restaurant. Green papaya salad, smashed cucumber, Pork dumplings, lamb egg rolls, chicken satay, prime new york strip, vegetable Lo Mein, crab fried rice, and asparagus. Paired with an unfiltered cold saki, Tengu No. Decadent indeed! Exceptional service, cool, hip, yet elegant atmosphere, and the food was a culinary treat. We had lots of fun laughing, and sharing in a special treat.

Had a great meal with our family who are out here visiting. Service was friendly and informative in guiding us through the menu. Cocktail menu was diverse and friendly (I impressed everyone by choosing the Match IPA for my drink). Had several varieties of Dumplings and the Lamb Srping Roll for an appetizer and for the main course, personally had the Crab Fried Rice with a side of asparagus which was delicious. The Garlic Chicken Noodles were quite good. All were very happy with Kembara.

Food and drinks were excellent. A little slower on the bar service for the volume of people than expected but worth the wait

At first, I saw the restaurant must be gimmick. It look like confusing cuisine, but once I look at the menu, I realized it may be worth a trial. after I got to the restaurant , we were very impressed with the creative cuisine. My favorite dish is chili king crab amazing spices plenty with a lot of king crab. The second best dish is papaya Salad. as a whole. This is the worthy restaurant I would recommend for adventurous diner! By the way, our server Clayton is the best!

The steak at the table was good, but the New York strip steak that we took on takeout was terrible. No one could eat it. It was very, very tough and very expensive for a piece of steak that no one could eat.

We never write bad reviews because sometimes things go wrong but the service was so rude. It would be really hard to have so few social skills. it seemed like they were so rude and miserable that they were trying to sabatage any experience. The food was also horrible! Lamb spring rolls were just that, bad lamb in a spring roll. A chive dumpling was an only a lot of chives that were super bitter. Not sure either side of the house could have tried to make it worse. It was like a joke. Really surprising how bad they made the whole experience.

Knowledgeable staff who were professional. Food was outstanding and came out hot and promptly. Great selections and nice variety. Sensitive to one gluten free in our group. Loved the entire experience.
