Kimchee Korean & Japanese Restaurant is conveniently located in Aberdeen, beside the Prestige Hotel, in the old Joey's Seafood restaurant location. It is a sister restaurant to the Oya Japanese Cuisine in Sun Peaks (not affiliate with Oya Sushi Kamloops), offering a fusion of traditional Korean full-course meals (Han Jeong Sik) and authentic Japanese dishes.

    Excellent food and service. I had the osizushi tuna and the TanTanMen, both were fantastic. My friends had the Korean fish stew with noodles (HUGE BOWL), also very tasty. I will be back to explore the menu.

    Had 3 suchi rolls and miso soup. Grand canyon Black pearl Golden fish. The grand canyon was above average and by far the best and most interesting flavors. Would order again for certain. The other two were fresh and tasty but would not order again. Very generic flavour combination Very fresh tasting ingredients Miso soup was delicious and perhaps one of the best i have had.

    Tried my first Korean dish- tender meat in broth with bean sprouts and veggies- not sure how many veggies are normally in that dish but not comparable to a Chinese beef and broccoli for example. There was some broccoli as a side dish included. We shared the Grand Canyon sushi roll too which had a unique mixture of toppings and was very nice. Pleasant and attentive but not intrusive service. Will go back.

    Very impressed with the quality and creativity of the dishes. I will definitely be returning for more. I tried the Tan Tan Men and the Aburi sushi platter. Delicious!

    Sushi is great, good presentation and tastes good. Bone soup is not that great. Soup is definitely not done right. The time to prep the base or the bone is more like a quick boil soup. Flavors are like from power packages. Meat from the bone are really bond together. That usually means the bones weren't boil long enough.

    We really enjoyed the whole experience having Korean food which exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent and restaurant is very specious with a spectacular view of Kamloops. One of our favourite restaurants in town.

    Amazing food, great service and a comfortable environment with nice views of the city lights from the window. Will definitely be returning soon!
