Living across the street from this restaurant, I’m there frequently and it’s usually an excellent experience. However, yesterday the experience was poor. The service, food and timing were not up to standard. It was an a disappointment.

Happy Hour is always great but we waited for 15 minutes for someone to even come to our table Service was horrible tonight. We had to ask the hostess several times to send a server to our table. She was helpful but they were not even busy so no excuse for the poor service

We had a reservation for a birthday dinner. We have eaten there several times before, both for lunch and dinner. When we got to the restaurant, the table reserved for us was up front near the host stand. The restaurant was beyond noisy. We asked for a different table and were told there was none because they were expecting a party of 25 and a party of 8. We ended up sitting on the patio, which was heated. We were given an out-of-the way table in the back, which was nice, but still very noisy. Conversation throughout the meal was difficult. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Two of us ordered the seafood pasta, but had to send it back to be reheated. It was lukewarm at best when we first got it. It was very good, though. It took longer than it should have for one of our party to get the glass of wine she ordered. We shared the mile-high dessert, which was wonderful. Maybe the best part of the meal! The manager did come to our table to apologize for the problem with seating. We did appreciate that.

As always, the food was delicious. Our server, Sarah, is an excellent server. Informative, friendly, and on top of her tables needs and wants.

My husband and I were late for our reservation. We got some terrible unexpected news and ended up calling to let them know we’d were going to be 10 mins late but instead we got there a little later than that. I totally expected for them to release my table, totally understood. But they held the table for us. We were extremely grateful! Our server Sarah was amazing. The food came out extremely fast. Faster than usual. Food was incredible! Love this location!!

Always enjoy a seafood fix at KSOB. Energic atmosphere, great selection of dishes, and friendly staff (the waiter Payton is excellent) give it a great local vibe.
