Kino is an indie restaurant and bar in the cultural heart of Leeds. Our seasonal menu is a little bit French, a lot British, and Yorkshire through and through. Think classic dishes reimagined, made from scratch by our award-winning chefs using the best local and wild produce. ​

    Really enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant. I wanted something away from the bottomless brunch scene which is taking over everywhere so decided to try here. We visited Saturday afternoon and spent an enjoyable couple of hours. Steak, Seabream, sides, dessert and wine. All exceptional and £60 pp including service charge was v good value as the food was top quality. And ino bottomless brunch crowd to be seen… added bonus 🙂

    We arrived late and on a deadline for a concert. We'd let the staff know in advance and they were extremely accommodating. We just had a main course and it was delicious!

    Small menu but good choices. Well presented. Nice portions. Pleasant staff. Lighting needs to be adjusted - felt too bright. Would recommend. Only negative comment about the food - we chose a frangipan dessert and it was more like a piece of cake ….nice but not much trace of almond.

    We had a pre theatre meal. Excellent value, lovely food and buzzy ambience. Great cocktail list. Thoroughly recommend.

    This is a wonderful restaurant - and so refreshing in comparison to the 'chain' restaurants in Leeds! Only 3 choices per course means that the food is freshly produced and just wonderful - nothing microwaved here! Would choose to eat here every time we come to Leeds even if not going to the theatre.

    This was our first visit and it proved to be very enjoyable. We had the two course menu and the items we selected were cooked to perfection and all very tasty. The service was pleasant and very friendly and the atmosphere was good. We will be returning to Kino in the future.

    Service was slow, didn't have wine I ordered, and glass of fizz was slow to come to table needed to ask on whereabouts. Wine was fine once arrived. Food well seasoned and tasty. Certain dishes require side dished.

    We visited Kino before going to the opera, leaving plenty of time, but only just finished in time for the curtain up. Several tables arrived either at the same time as us or indeed after us and all got out before us.
