   Delicioso todo, el mejor risotto de langosta que he probado, las carnes espectaculares y las guarniciones tambien. No me gusto mucho el pastel ( auqne fue regalado) y creo que el lugar eta un poco oscuro, pero en general una experiencia muy buena, seguro regreso

   It was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was phenomenal. The food especially the lobster cargo was incredible. The cocktails were pretty good as well.

   We continue to return to Kirby's above the other top steakhouses in San Antonio. Nice atmosphere, top quality staff and great steaks. Our server last night (Tyler) was very friendly, knowledgeable and offered helpful suggestions.

   They overcooked my wife’s steak and crab cake. She ordered medium on a basic cut and it came out well done. Crab cake wasn’t really edible. My ribeye was actually overcooked too but I liked the flavor of the char so just ate it and didn’t complain. Side salad was subpar but shrimp cocktail and sides were solid. Drinks were good and server was nice and attentive. The manager got my wife taken care of with another steak and crab cake and comped us for that mistake, which we appreciated. But if you’re a steakhouse, the one thing you can’t do is overcook the meat.

   We had a lovely experience at Kirby’s. Peter was a very attentive waiter and fully explained their off-menu specials. The food was excellent and was cooked as we requested.

   At first our experience started off a little rocky. They didn't have a table for us, although we had a reservation. The hostess suggested we sit at the bar if we didn't feel like waiting. I was a little annoyed, but the server was beyond exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and even made great recommendations. The entire bar staff worked as a team and all checked on us. Several times different servers took care of us. The food, as always, was amazing.

   I had called ahead and put in my reservation request that it was my boys birthday and nothing was said about it. The service was really slow and there were only 4 tables in the restaurant.

    My wife and I have been loyal patrons since retiring from the Air Force in 2015, and Kirby’s has always been our favorite steakhouse in the area. While the food remained exceptional, as expected, the service we received this evening was disappointing and did not reflect the high standards we have come to appreciate. Our server appeared far more engaged with an adjacent table, spending an excessive amount of time conversing with those guests while we were left waiting for service. This led to delays in receiving our meals and our ticket, as well as an overall lack of attentiveness. At one point, He apologized for the delay, stating that he had spoken to the kitchen and that our meals were being plated. However, our food arrived almost immediately after, making it evident that this was not the case because he'd been at the adjacent table for the previous 5-7 minutes. Additionally, when our check was presented, he promptly retrieved it while we were still enjoying our drinks, which felt rushed and discourteous. It would have been nice to see the same sense of eagerness while we were trying to enjoy our meal. My peppercorn steak was the absolute best I have ever had. I was amazed and the tenderness and flavor. This visit was intended to be a special Valentine’s Day celebration even though it was on the 15th, but the inattentive service detracted from the experience. Given our long history of dining at Kirby’s, this was our most disappointing visit, and it has led us to reconsider future visits.
