Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Washington DC, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

    I ordered the fried lobster. Looks bigger in the picture than in person. You can finish it in 3-4 bites. Also, sides are separate from entree's. Not cool. Causes the overall meal to be at least 10% more. Drinks are overpriced as well. I want to support black businesses (if this is one) but it is way way WAY WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!!! Better off going somewhere else.

    Upon arrival we were waiting for another couple so we were asked to wait downstairs waited 20 minutes for server to come take our drink order the other couple arrived and I assured We could transfer our drinks to table was chased down like I was trying to not pay for my drinks then we were seated server was very unpleasant we ordered a couple appetizers that were delicious that’s the only highlight of experience I ordered the salmon that was left on grill 30 minutes too long so dry I couldn’t eat it my wife got the smothered pork chops and needed a sword to cut it and extremely bland and dry my son got the chicken and communal waffles that were decent and my daughter in law got the jerk chicken there again needed a chain saw to cut and was extremely dry.the appetizer were flavorful collards and sweet potatoes but for $367 I wouldn’t expected so much more extremely disappointing.In that $367 was $60 in Alchol I am not satisfied by any means in this establishment and would not recommend to anyone

    The food was good but a bit overpriced. I had the chicken and cinnamon waffles as well as the dream eggs. All were tasty. The front house service doesn’t match the price-point. I would definitely go back, upscale is more than quality ingredients and good food, it’s an experience, with staff training this place could really be awesome.

    The food and waiter was very good ! The food also did not take long after placing order to be brought out. We had a reservation for 9:45 and it took us about 15 min to be seated . Would recommend !

    I thoroughly enjoyed my time at dinner. The music was good. The restaurant was beautiful nice clean so many different things to look at TVs and everything. My only dislike was the salmon was a little bit dry. Everything was delicious. The catfish the macaroni, the collard greens even the drinks were good. One drink, and I felt amazing. I definitely would recommend a nine out of 10. It is a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth for the experience my daughter had an amazing birthday.

     The food was delicious. The drinks were on point and cost-efficient. The ambience was lovely if you wanted a little bit of music and you can go downstairs the service was phenomenal  the only thing I would complain about is we had a reservation and we had to wait 25 minutes.

    The staff was excellent and the food was well prepared. The cocktails weren’t that great, but the bartender was so warm and friendly.

    The atmosphere was amazing. The ambience was very classy feeling. However , the food lacked taste. I had ordered the fish and grits and try fish wasn’t cooked all the way through correctly nor were my grits seasoned. As well as for the price I don’t think it was worth it. Just save y’all money.

    Our server paul was great and very attentive. He gave good recommendations. Drinks were good definitely on the pricier end. We did get the short ribs . Crab pasta and salmon bites. The salmon bites and the sauce were amazing but the main entrees were not the best. The vibe and atmosphere was amazing and energetic with good music.
