    Michael our server was an absolute superstar!! He made us feel really comfortable and had ensured special attention being given to my kids who had come to Kitchen 6 for the very first time!! A huge thanks to the staff and chefs of Kitchen6 for a fantastic and sumptuous lunch spread that was worth the trip!! Kudos to all of you!!!

    Not worth it for the price of the brunch, and it would not take alot to improve. The Marriot Marquis has a pretty good reputation, I've eaten regularly in other outlets, but the christmas buffet at Kitchen 6 was not worth it, not when you compare the offerings of other 5 star hotels at the same price point. They showed a complete lack of culinary imagination in the overall execution, and the drinks package was limited to cheap selection of alcoholic beverages, Red Label johnnie walker being the highlight tells you all you need to know. Don't get me wrong, the set up and display of ginger bread houses looked good, but it was superficial in terms of what you could eat. They pride themselves on 6 cooking sections, 5 of which bore absolutely no relation to festive menus. On the cold kitchen section, sushi took up about 50 percent of the buffet space. With a fois gras mouseline being the only dish that bore any semblance to the festive period that they were supposedly going for. The main courses showed absolutely no imagination, and I'm surprised... the turkey was nice, moist and cooked really well, the bread stuffing was amazing, and the Brussels sprouts were also really nice... but thats it. The braised " smoked" ribs were kind of take it or leave it, and the roast leg of lamb, was, in my case...over cooked....by a long way. They had Yorkshire puddings for some reason, which I still can't understand, because the one dish it goes with was noticeably absent... no roast potatos, no mash potato, just a miserable attempt at pomme dauphinoise. I understand they feel they need to cater to a multitude of different nationalities, but they could have done alot more and blown people away by just being more imaginative in their menu design. It just came across as lazy. Especially when you consider what they were charging per head for the experience.

    Our experience yesterday for the dinner buffet was simply outstanding and fantastic. The ambiance, seating arrangements, food, everything was just perfect.

    Table service was next to null. I had to call for the waiter several times to collect empty plates. Food quality was below expectations; in one case the rice wasn’t even well cooked. Overall, with such price and at such luxurious hotel you would expect far better service and food quality. This was disappointing

    We had an issue with our reservation and the reception desk was helpless, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our table and they didn't even apologised. The restaurant was too crowded and noisy. Honestly we didn't like the experience

    The service was disappointing—on two occasions, we had to find the attendant ourselves to clear the table. The payment process was another issue. When I asked about the acceptance of vouchers, the manager claimed the policy hadn’t changed, yet it was different from what I’ve experienced over the past year. Despite me showing the record on the app, the manager insisted on "checking the history." If the policy has indeed changed, that’s fine—but it should be communicated clearly, not left to what feels like a “discretionary policy.” Overall, the quality of service and experience has noticeably declined. This establishment no longer lives up to its previous award-winning status and now feels like an ordinary restaurant.
