We enjoyed a sushi app, mahi mahi, and drunken noodles at Koloa Thai Bistro. Quality for the price was excellent. My only complaint: the entrees were delivered before we finished our sushi appetizer. We had even ordered the entree later than the app! This is a big pet peeve of mine. Otherwise, a fine place to eat in very cute, trendy Koloa.

Food was fresh in a very low key casual setting. Fried lobster rice served in a pineapple was a ten.

Kōloa Thai Bistro is was a great find! It’s close to the Poipu beach area where we are staying and located in a two story shopping building on the second floor. Request and inside table if you will be enjoying cocktails and/or wine, as they are not permitted on the outdoor tables. The wine list by the glass is small but it had both a red and white French wine that we enjoyed! The hospitality, promptness, and food was outstanding. We ordered the egg rolls, Pad Thai and a Hawaiian stir fried rice dish with chicken, beef and shrimp. Everything came out piping hot and delicious. If you are looking for a casual place to eat with great food, this is the place!

Probably the best meal we’ve had visiting Kauai. The island is littered with pretentious restaurants with astronomical prices that offer really mediocre food. This place has honest Thai cuisine with ultra fresh ingredients. Ample portions for under $20. Best curry I’ve had in a long time.

this is one of the best restaurants in the Poipu Koloa area. Outstanding dining experience. He will be missing out if you do not join in the fun.

I ordered the fried Mahi Mahi which was a little dry, not very Thai -like, could have been better with more sauce. I really like my wife’s drunken noodles

From the moment we were greeted and ushered to our table marked with a welcome sign, we fell in love with this new restaurant. Ordered the Chicken Satay (delicious), the Coconut Shrimp (delicious) and the Combination Pineapple with Fried Rice (delicious). We have been coming to Poipu Beach for 25 years and Koloa Thai Bistro has moved to the top of our recommended list. We will be back before we fly home on the 31st. Keep up the good work and Mahalo. Nothing fancy and it is located upstairs but worth the walk.
