Set back off the main road in Kōloa on the second floor of an old town building is this wonderful Thai restaurant! Drinks were prepared by a barkeep who really enjoyed shaking and making them (lichee Martini was quite interesting!). Service by a very nice waitress got us some great suggestions to try. Our choices were chicken sate (I ❤️ peanut sauce and the marinated fresh vegetables) with a main course of pad Thai and unbelievable fried rice. Chef in back really knew how to prepare nice portions of these marvelous dishes. The restaurant itself is also nicely comfy with tasteful decor. We will be back again!

We enjoyed a sushi app, mahi mahi, and drunken noodles at Koloa Thai Bistro. Quality for the price was excellent. My only complaint: the entrees were delivered before we finished our sushi appetizer. We had even ordered the entree later than the app! This is a big pet peeve of mine. Otherwise, a fine place to eat in very cute, trendy Koloa.

Hard to find this restaurant but once we did, the food was very good. We had a rainbow roll which was very tasty and fresh. Very limited wine selection but prices were good. Small place with nice staff. Would go back.

Kōloa Thai Bistro is was a great find! It’s close to the Poipu beach area where we are staying and located in a two story shopping building on the second floor. Request and inside table if you will be enjoying cocktails and/or wine, as they are not permitted on the outdoor tables. The wine list by the glass is small but it had both a red and white French wine that we enjoyed! The hospitality, promptness, and food was outstanding. We ordered the egg rolls, Pad Thai and a Hawaiian stir fried rice dish with chicken, beef and shrimp. Everything came out piping hot and delicious. If you are looking for a casual place to eat with great food, this is the place!

Probably the best meal we’ve had visiting Kauai. The island is littered with pretentious restaurants with astronomical prices that offer really mediocre food. This place has honest Thai cuisine with ultra fresh ingredients. Ample portions for under $20. Best curry I’ve had in a long time.

this is one of the best restaurants in the Poipu Koloa area. Outstanding dining experience. He will be missing out if you do not join in the fun.
