Welcome to Krill, where the vibrant atmosphere sets the mood for bold Southeast Asian flavors. Executive Chef/ Partner, Jason Lawless' Southeast Asian-inspired dishes are served with fun, funky twists, paired alongside fresh, creative cocktails and a thoughtfully curated sake and wine program. Krill offers a theatrical setting that is signature to all Giorgios Hospitality Group restaurants- from the lemongrass and outdoor bamboo garden to the giant lanterns and colorful murals by local artist, Arianne Hemlein.     The short rib was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly but needed more seasoning on the meat. The sides were perfectly seasoned and the cassava was delicious. All in all a great experience. It was our first time and our anniversary dinner. The patio is chill and covered. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The caipirinhas were delicious!

    Tremendous service from waiter/bartender Q. All the food was top notch. Wish there were a few more green vegetable menu options/ingredients, otherwise really delightful experience.

    I have been at Krill many times mostly because of the quality of food and the many options that it used to have for vegetarians. Apparently, not anymore. The restaurant changed its menu two days ago so I was not aware that they are not offering any vegetarian entrees. I could get small plates but they were all not very impressive either. My husband (who is not vegetarian) asked for a meal with pork. He asked about what "sizzling" meant and he couldn't get a very good explanation. The explanation was: "it is a filipino dish." He was kind of surprised to learn that the filipino sizzling pork is just pork rinds - which he would never order because he cannot eat too much fat.

    Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our daughter at this quaint restaurant in Durham. We started with blistered shishito peppers and dumplings. Everything was flavorful and good portions for 3 of us to share. We then shared half of a fried chicken with spicy honey sauce, korean short ribs and stir-fried vegetables. The chicken was crispy, juicy and sweet heat with the sauce. The short ribs were thin and cut with bone on one side. Good flavor and large portion. The vegetables were a perfect accompaniment to the meats. Excellent service and quiet atmosphere.

    The food was great and unique. Highly recomend the krill old fashion too. The service was odd thougb. Drinks came after the appetizer and my entree arrived 10 minutes before my wifes. The ambiance was a bit disapointing too, it had a shabby feel to it. If you want a unique food experience you will find it here just wouldnt count on the service and be prepared for a very casual setting.

    Great food, great service, e hectic fun setting. Loved the Thai tea tiramisu, so unique. Needs a better wine by the glass option but everything ends was delicious. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
