Welcome to Krill, where the vibrant atmosphere sets the mood for bold Southeast Asian flavors. Executive Chef/ Partner, Jason Lawless' Southeast Asian-inspired dishes are served with fun, funky twists, paired alongside fresh, creative cocktails and a thoughtfully curated sake and wine program. Krill offers a theatrical setting that is signature to all Giorgios Hospitality Group restaurants- from the lemongrass and outdoor bamboo garden to the giant lanterns and colorful murals by local artist, Arianne Hemlein. Expect fresh, seasonal, local ingredients and house-made sauces and pastes. Looking forward to hosting you for some Far East flavors without boundaries!

    Chef Karl has created an exclusive menu for a new dining experience at Krill: Filipino Night! This menu will feature a variety of new flavors highlighting family recipes, and traditional, authentic Filipino cuisine. For larger groups: Kamayan! Four proteins, rice, noodles, salads, lumpia and more! A huge platter for the whole table! (Intended to be enjoyed with your hands - pagkakamay - if you'll be so bold!) Chef Karl wanted to share his favorite way to dine with Durham. Due to the size of the dish, this offering will be limited to parties of four or more. 'Kamayan' is listed as an Add-On for your reservation and will be priced at $45 per person. P.S. Karaoke Afterparty will start at 8:00 PM next door -The Bar @dbco

    We had a wonderful experience at Krill. The food (ayam goreng, crab khao soi, and tamarind salmon sinigang) was amazing. I would 10/10 recommend this place for a quiet date night!

    Inauthentic and tasteless. The spices and flavors were unidentifiable as Khao Sui or green papaya salad. Not sure what the restaurant was trying to accomplish with these dishes. None of us finished our food. Expensive and disappointing. Beautiful space but did not live up to even basic expectations.

    I've been to Krill once before last Fall and every dish our group of 4 got was beyond excellent, I wanted to lick every plate. The downside was service wasn't as great, towards the end of our dinner the waitress disappeared and it took forever to get the checks. I was really excited to bring some other friends to check it out but learned they had revamped their menu. The papaya salad was too minty and sweet when it should be savory and spicy, my husband and a friend got the seafood pad see ew and both dishes came out undercooked and the noodles were very thick with little sauce. Upside was the service was much better, drinks were still great and two other dishes were good (not superb like before but very good). I don't know if I'd give them another chance, I want the old menu back 😭

    We made a reservation for our family over the Thanksgiving weekend. The restaurant was crowded but every table was not full. It took quite some time for our server to come to our table after arriving . Once they came to our table, we ordered a couple of small plates, 2 alcoholic beverages, and 4 large plates for our party of five. The appetizer arrived within a reasonable amount of time: however, our drinks had not arrived. We had to ask about our drinks, and then they finally delivered them. We ate our small plates which were very good, but after they cleared away our dishes, it took so long to get our large plates that we had to ask how much longer it would be before our main courses would arrive. The server told us that there was a large table outside and said the kitchen was backed up. We were told the food would be out in five minutes: however, the food arrived ten minutes later. The frustration lies in the fact that we should have been notified that there would be a longer than normal wait for our food, the server or manager should have comped us for a small plate, and they should have checked in on us to see if anyone needed a 2nd drink or anything while we waited. The saving grace and reason for three stars instead of two was the food which was very very tasty. Unfortunately, we will not be returning after this experience. This is very disappointing given the positive reviews I had read online.
