La Barrita features Argentinian style steak seasoned with mouth watering chimichurri, home made pastas, and empanadas. Nestled in the Butcher's Hill neighborhood, La Barrita provides intimate atmosphere with a Baltimore industrial feel. In the warmer months enjoy al fresco dining when we roll up the garage doors.

At La Barrita we treat our guests like family. An upscale casual restaurant, we suit a variety of dining needs, from special occasions to catching up with friends; you might even catch a soccer game on at the bar.     The service was great. Our waiter gave us great recommendations for our first time being there. The service was great. Everyone was very attentive. Cocktails were perfect in our opinion. Not too boozy just right. Food was great. Have to try the  spinach raviolis. We are coming here again the future.

    We had an amazing dinner at La Barrita. It was our first time, and I will definitely be back! We enjoyed the empanada trio. Our favorite was the beef empanada. We shared the parrillada entree, as well as the gnocchi Santa Fe. Everything was delicious with so much flavor.

    La Barrita is always a treat! Consistently delicious food and excellent service. Reservations strongly recommended as it’s very small.

    Last night I had the pleasure of dining at La Barrita, a small Argentinian restaurant in the Butchers Hill neighborhood. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. The mouth watering chimichurri they serve with fresh bread made in house I could eat everyday and put it on everything!! As an appetizer I ordered chorizo and the La Barrita salad. The chorizo is also made in house and was the best I’ve had in this country. My main course was Bife de Chorizo and that steak was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend La Barrita to anyone looking for a delicious meal. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

    We finally got to enjoy this tucked away restaurant. From the start; our meal was outstanding. The Empanada trio were all delish. Flakey crust and nicely filled. My husband had the rib eye steak and I had the short rib on the bone. Both came out exactly as requested and were among the best beef we’ve had. Portions and prices were very very reasonable.

    We love La Barrita! The food is incredible and the restaurant is very nice. We are moving out of state and we chose to come here for our last dinner in Baltimore! I would choose this place any day!
