In both 2022 and 2023, we received the prestigious Bib Gourmand accolade from the Michelin Guide, making us the first fully plant-based restaurant in Canada to achieve such a distinction.

    The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was enriched with flavor the service was awesome the accommodations was perfect and lite. This gave me a new look on Mexican culture and food. I loved it. The ambiance was amazing. Love it.

    One of my favourite restaurants in the world. The tasting menu takes you into a magical world of flavours created by chef Ivan. The restaurant truly deserves all the recognition that they have received and more. From the taste and presentation of the food to the amicable and warm service of the staff La Bartola would impress foodies and others alike including those with a meet based food preference.

    Went in to try their tasting menu and loved the flavour profile of each serving. Amazing ambience and would definitely recommend for everyone to try whenever you get a chance.

    A very warm welcome at the door which set the mood for the entire experience. The Staff were all very polite and exceptionally attentive in a very mindful manner. The food was exceptional from presentation to palate! I have already recommended La Bartola to a number of friends! The food is highly creative and flavourful. Thank you for a wonderful evening La Bartola!

    I was really looking forward to this meal. I saw it on a TV show when I was in Florida. The piece was shot 2 years ago, apparently, but I had never heard of this restaurant. I am on a whole food plant based diet so good restaurants are hard to find in Toronto. This was a pleasant surprise. Each course was amazing. The mole's are to die for. The service was great. The place was full which says a lot in January on a cold night. The prices were what I expected for a place of this quality. They did not break the bank. All dishes were well presented and generous. I will definitely be back. Well done.

    I love learning the nuances and origins of each dish. Everyone was so knowledgeable. Service was quick. Food was top tier. Highly recommend. And I will be going again.

    1. Food lacked flavours - i am not an expert on mexican food but everything was bland and little towards tasteless. Even the Margharita was over priced and not tasty- no flavours. 2. Ambience was good - please make your washroom little nice and welcoming. Why do restaurants ignore their washrooms? 3. Overpriced and not tasty - wont recommend and wont come again.

    We’re not vegan or even vegetarian but thought we’d give this a try on a recent visit to Toronto. To start with, the service and the staff are outstanding. The host made sure that we weren’t chilled because of the front door and our waiter, Santana, was knowledgeable and informed about how the food was prepared, as well as the history of the cuisine.  He made recommendations,since this was our first time, and we loved every dish we tried.  The dishes were very creative, in part because it’s a vegan restaurant, but every one had complex layers of flavor. We would heartily recommend giving this restaurant a try.
