シェフ兼オーナーのジェームス・キャンベル・カルーソ（ジェームズ・ビアード賞ノミネート3回）によって2006年にオープンしたLa Bocaは、サンタフェのダウンタウンの中心部に位置する居心地の良いスペインのタパスレストランです。スペイン旅行の影響を受け、ジェームズシェフは、伝統とモダンさを兼ね備えた料理を作るために、本物のスペインの食材の相乗効果を求めています。薄くスライスされたマグロ（ブラッドオレンジのアイオリ、カラマタのオリーブのトッピング、スモーク・シーソルト付）などの料理のように、様々な異なる味付けがなされています。 La Bocaには活気のあるヨーロッパのようなワインバーもあり、厳選された地中海と南米のワインを幅広く取り揃えています。快活とした知識豊富なスタッフが優雅に食事に合う完璧なワインやシェリーを紹介します。 La Bocaはサンタフェ・ファームのレストランプログラムに参加しています。 La Bocaでの座席は限られているため、4名以上の予約についてはレストランに連絡する必要があります。

    小皿料理、ですが、日本人には普通の量です。4人で4皿くらいはいけます。その分値段としては高めに感じるかと思います。料理自体はオーソドックスなスパニッシュをちょっとアレンジしたちょっと他にはない味ですね。面白いと思います。

    Very good food. Love sharing tapas with all the variety of tastes. The Marcy street restaurant gets really hot and stuffy, and needs better ventilation.

    Our family of 4 had reservations for a Friday. Server was prompt but not overbearing so accommodating. We had a special of angel hair with chicken, pork + sausage ragu, beef tenderloin w/ 2sauces, 2 flights of sherry, gintos : one herbal/cucumber, one classic, a Cune Rioja that paired w/everything, grilled artichokes, curried hummus/flatbreads, manchego w/ marinated cherries, and basque cheesecake, ice cream, polverones, and almond cake. A guitarist played lively beautiful songs during the evening. The space is airy, not stuffy, and clean. All kinds of people gather here: out of owners, couples, singletons, families. Come for bite, a sweet treat or a feast. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Eager to visit again.

    Really wonderful and relaxing late afternoon lunch. Evey plate was perfection and service was attentive but never intrusive. My 24-year-old granddaughter spent a college semester in Spain and was impressed by the authenticity. She said it was the best food she had outpacing all the restaurants she had gone to in Spain.

    This was our second visit and both experiences were excellent. Mateo, our server, was very knowledgeable and professional. The food was delicious and the wine that he suggested was a perfect compliment to our dinner. We will be back!!

    Very good and reasonable! We had two tapas plates and the paella and we were both full. Vanilla cake dessert was a winner too.

    Food was superb. We had a delightful - and very knowledgeable - waitress who helped us navigate best options in the menu and wine list. She really knew the nuisances of all menu items and the drink choices. The only complaint was the noise level. But will definitely go back over and over!

    La Boca has been on our list for awhile. It didnt disappoint. There are actually 2 venues at the same location. The entrance on Marcy is a typical Tapas place. Around the "alley" is a dining venue with live music! We opted for the music. Much fun and of course noisy. Tables are set up for 2 diners very close together like NY or Chicago. No white table cloths here. A small bar and a small stage for the guitarist and drummer. Very "village". Loved it. We shared mussels in a delicious coconut sauce with crusted baguette from Sage. Sandy had a Sangria and I had a seasonal dark beer. Then we shared a paella for one. Very filling. Next time we will try other Tapas dishes!
