At La Française Bistrot, we bring Family back to the Family ski town, by being one of the only family-operated businesses in Summit County. From father, mother, daughter and son-in-law, we share the best of what our family loves and cherishes: good food, good wine and a good time.
We do limit our seating times to 1h30mins for parties of 2, 1h45mins for 3-4 people and 2 hours for larger parties. If you expect your seating time to be longer, please make your reservation for later time slots so that everyone gets to enjoy our restaurant without being rushed!

We have a 15-minute grace period & charge $10/person for no-shows or day of cancellations. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we no longer accept online reservations for parties of 8 or more. Please call the restaurant to book for larger groups.

    We had a less than enjoyable dining experience at La Francaisse Bistro. Firstly, having reserved a table with Open Table, we were extremely disappointed to be seated at the worst table in the restaurant, right in front of the kitchen. This was not an exclusive seating with the chef. This was very a loud and stressful experience with all the dish-clanging, order taking, and server hand-offs right over our dinner. Secondly, the meal was just “okay”. We still can’t figure out the walnut-cranberry bread (stale) that was served with the charcuterie board. Honestly, all would have been acceptable if we were seated at a less offensive table. We won’t be returning.

    Both regional and classic French dishes excellently executed with some unexpected, delicious twists, paired with delicious wines. The pastries for dessert are not to be missed!

    Incredible experience - we had a high top right by the kitchen and enjoyed chatting with the chef and the amazing staff. They were very accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies, food was phenomenal, highly recommend!

    This place just became our favorite—one of the highlights of our skiing trip! A small, cozy spot with well-spaced tables, so you don’t end up sharing bread with your neighbors. It’s not too quiet, not too loud—the perfect volume to enjoy your conversation without being overheard. The balance of flavors and the quality of the food were outstanding. We’ve already booked a return visit for Friday. We had the onion soup, the ribs with foie gras, the fried moules and the crème brûlée —all delicious. We loved the portion sizes: neither French small nor overly large like in the U.S.A. For the quality, the price is more than fair. Reservations are absolutely necessary, especially on weekends. Just a heads-up—they’re closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Cet endroit est rapidement devenu notre préféré—l’un des temps forts de notre séjour au ski. Un petit restaurant chaleureux avec des tables bien espacées, pour ne pas finir par partager votre pain avec vos voisins. Ni trop calme, ni trop bruyant—juste le bon volume pour profiter de votre conversation sans être entendu de tous. L’équilibre des saveurs et la qualité des plats étaient exceptionnels. Nous avons déjà réservé pour vendredi. Nous avons goûté la soupe à l’oignon, les côtes avec foie gras et les moules frites—tout était délicieux. Nous avons adoré la taille des portions : ni trop petite à la française, ni trop grande à l’américaine. Pour la qualité, le prix est plus que raisonnable. Les réservations sont indispensables, surtout le week-end. Petite précision : ils sont fermés les mardis et mercredis.
