    Our first time here to this Very popular place …It was a lovely cozy setting…We had the table side Chateaubriand with fresh roasted potatoes and vegetables for two comes with soup and salad and it was all excellent!!!

    I have a limited income but it was my 75th birthday, so I thought I would splurge. I wasn't sure where I wan going to dine, so I checked out different menus from a number of restaurants. THERE IT WAS: Veal Cordon Bleu. Haven't had this in YEARS. When I arrived, I was promptly seated and Aimee, my waitress came right over. The entire staff were very accommodating. The meal came with soup, a TASTY chicken orzo, followed by a nice bibb lettuce salad. The veal was AMAZING; the side of vegetables was really good and the roasted potatoes were GREAT! Finally, as it was my birthday, they treated me with a nice chocolate mousse. Everything was perfect. I will certainly return.

    We had reservations for 6:30 pm Our table wasn’t available until after 7:00 no apologies from the owner, a complementary glass of wine would have been nice When finally seated We told our waiter we could not order wine because of medication I am taking temporarily. The server never removed the glasses Food: soup watery Salads tired Wife’s Sole entree drowned in butter and barely warm My Escargot plate was room temperature with the butter congealing My Sweet Breads had a huge dose of Beef concentrate in the gravy The Duck our guest ordered was barely warm The entire dinner was a mess

    We love La Gare but it was the busy Valentine's weekend. We were in the streetside south room and put on a small table in the middle of the room. I am a large man and was bumped during the meal by at least 9 people trying to get around me. As usual the food was great and the staff kept apologizing for the crowd bumping into me. There were two other tables by the window that were larger tables for two but we were not allowed to move.

    Went for Valentine’s Day with my wife and it never disappoints!! Food was incredible service impeccable and the desserts just finished off a perfect night!

    Valentine’s Day dinner with friends, all of whom hadn’t been to La Gare in a while. The food and service were outstanding. We’ll be back soon.

    Excellent rack of lamb. Mills was an excellent server very attentive without being overbearing. Cherries jubilee topped off the evening. Fine dining at its best.

    Another perfect meal at our favorite restaurant! Great food, great service and great owners- always consistent. The only French restaurant in Sonoma County as far as I’m concerned!
