La Nouvelle is the next story in our culinary journey by Michael Lugo. This opportunity to bring French Nouveau cuisine to our city has us so excited. Bringing to the helm Matthieu Landillon from the coastal city of Marseille, La Nouvelle allows us to explore classic French Bistro fare with an elevated edge.     The atmosphere was sophisticated but not stuffy. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and their food recommendations were excellent. Everything we ordered, from the first course to the last, was delicious and beautifully presented. We would definitely go there again.

    Alex, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. The Branzino Almandine I ordered was cooked to perfection . ‘’Tres Magnifique’’ I would go back there again and again, and will recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys French Cuisine. Though I didn’t order dessert, everything on the dessert menu was so tempting. A great dining experience was had by all of my guests. Highly recommended!!

    This is one of the best fine dining restaurants in St Augustine- If not the VERY BEST. The food is quite good- exceptional, in fact. A very good wine list..again, one of the best in town. I would expect to find a place like this in Boca Raton or Palm Beach. To have this GEM in St Augustine is incredibly nice.

    This is a little slice of Paris in the heart of St Augustine. The food is delicious; the service is impeccable. It has become our go to restaurant. Bravo Michel Lugo for another success!

    It was a pleasure to dine at La Nouvelle. We are in St Augustine on vacation and had heard great things about the restaurant so we made the reservation. There were 4 of us and every one of us enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We can’t wait to go back.

    We enjoyed our experience. The table was ready at the time of our reservation. The food was enjoyable. There was a mix up in the kitchen and our middle course was skipped. They did bring it out with our 3rd course/after the 3rd course arrived, but that was less than ideal. The dessert was an offering due to the mistake which was appreciated but no lavender detected in the creme brulee anywhere. Service was absolutely outstanding. Highlight of the meal was the beet terrine.

    Very delicious addition to St Augustine. Excellent food. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside was a little noisy for an intimate dining experience. Overall a lovely night and we look forward to coming back to try more dishes.
