    The meal I received was beautifully cooked. However it was not the meal I wanted. The seafood linguine was the special and they ran out. Otherwise, everything was lovely. This is a great choice for a lovely evening in Baddeck

    An Excellent choice for dinner on Cape Breton. Our personable and enthusiastic waitperson helped us make great choices and the timing of everything was perfect. The seafood linguini special was truly special. Thank you for a lovely time.

    Beautiful spot w all glass looking out on the lake! Great local seafood (we had it all…oysters, muscles, lobster & the seafood chowder). Highly recommend everyone check it out!

    Thank you for a delicious and memorable dinner. The service was excellent and staff very accommodating. Emma was absolutely delightful and attentive to our needs throughout the entire experience.Please give her our thanks.

    The food was excellent! Flavourful, amazing sauces, interesting combinations, beautiful presentation! The restaurant faces a beautiful lake, and even if you don’t sit on the patio, you can still get a wonderful view of the lake from inside through large windows. Our server (a young lady) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave us a few helpful sightseeing recommendations, which we also really appreciated. Overall, highly recommend for a special dinner!

    Ate there the previous night and it was very good, so went there again. What a mistake! It was a completely different experience. Food took an hour to arrive and was overcooked or not very good, basic items like spinach salad and white wine were unavailable, and staff was distracted and mostly absent. Apparently they had 2 private events going on outside. In future they should just close the dining room when hosting events, as they obviously are not able to handle both at the same time, even with dining room being less than half full.
