   I have never been to Langdon Hall. Heard plenty of good things over years. I don’t believe my expectations were too high; I didn’t know what to expect. I brought my girlfriend for her 50th birthday. Service was excellent! Food was good/great. Had the scallops as an appetizer and the smoked beef as the entree. Portions were smallish as expected. Scallops were good. Beef was good but could have been warmer. Menu wasn’t the most appealing especially dessert which I skipped (unheard of in my world) Ambience was lacking with a very ordinary dining room. It is rated highly as one of top restaurants in Canada. In my opinion that is a stretch. It was good but not over the top great. Would I go again? No… it was extraordinarily expensive for what it was.

   What a great experience! While waiting for our reservation we had drinks at the bar which were amazing. The whole dining experience was top notch from beginning to end. All the staff are exceptional!

   This was not just dinner but an experience, the food was iso good, along with the service and our stay we didn't want to leave the next day, so ended up staying another night and returning to the dining room for dinner. We have already planned our next stay. Can't say enough good things about Langdon Hall!

   Went to scout as a possible wedding venue and had heard rave reviews about their menu. Phenomenal! Only an hour out of Toronto, but felt like a different country. The venue itself was magical, the service was THE BEST I’ve ever had. Pricey menu, but presentation and quaint (but very filling) portions were astounding. I’m not a foodie, but appreciated the attention to detail. In short- absolutely fantastic for a romantic dinner, evening escape from the GTA. Would absolutely recommend to anyone
