   We had the smoked mozzarella, the lobster ravioli, and the truffle gnocchi. Everything was delicious. My only gripe is that both times I’ve been here it’s been really hot in the dining room.

   Another excellent meal at L’Angolos with starters of Caesar salad with nice slice of Parmesan atop along with Eggplant parm! Warm bread crust was a little crunchy with nice side of pesto olive oil. My pasta special of pappardelle Langostino and shrimp had a very nice kick. The Lamb Ossobuca special was delish along with a shared slice of New York cheese cake and fresh strawberries for desert. We sat down at 4:45 and were joined by only one other table but by 5:30 the regulars rolled in and the vibe was hoping in the dining room. The tables then became much louder, but that was ok cause most of them were prepping to head to the Sixers game. Service was very attentive! It was an another great Italian dinner in the heart of South Philly!

   Such an amazing restaurant! Fairly affordable as far as authentic and creative Italian food goes, with high quality food and a really interesting + accessible selection of food. Service was amazing and the ambience of the place is very sweet and intimate. Would definitely go again.

   L’Angolo is one of our favorite restaurants. We first visited while in Philly 11 years ago. Food is always outstanding, service is great, staff is super friendly. Feels & looks like a neighborhood restaurant in Italy. We’ve been there many times, I entertained for business dozens of times. Everyone I’ve brought here returns on their own with others. I recommend L’Angolo without reservation.
