Paella Negra
The rice was mushy, with a texture similar to regular rice cooked in a paella pot. The seafood toppings were overcooked, particularly the shrimp, which were dry. Additionally, the squid ink was insufficient, leaving portions of the rice visibly white.
Gambas
The shrimp were mostly no longer plump, and the dish was overly oily. Despite a few thin slices of garlic, the flavor lacked the expected garlicky punch. The excessive oil overpowered the dish, making it feel unbalanced.
Grilled Scallops
The scallops had good flavor but were drenched in too much oil, detracting from their appeal.
Assorted Chorizo
The chorizo selection was quite enjoyable, though there was no indication of the specific types used. Without clear labels, it was difficult to identify which one stood out the most, but the overall quality was good.
Calamari
This was the standout dish. The calamari was thinly battered and impressively crispy, even after sitting on the table for some time. Combined with tender squid, this dish earned a well-deserved thumbs up.
