LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

    Food was mostly 8/10 Awesome breakfast, awesome desserts, chicken parm was really good, beet salad was so good, steak was so so…bottomless mimosas was great. Wait staff was 8/10 - our server Alex Was great. The manager Leo was a total loser. Did not like him. He did not accommodate us when we ask asked for a slightly larger table. We got sat at a small table considering we had 6 people and everyone else that had our table size was 2-3 people. There were 2 other round tables for 7 and only 1 table had 3 people joined by 3 more an hour later. The larger tables were available and sat empty for 2.5 hours. So yeh - the daytime manager Leo gets 0/10 from me. Dessert was great!!

    Second time at this restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the food this time - the overall vibe didn’t feel authentically Italian. The branzino was a 5 out of 10, the octopus didn’t taste fresh, and the presentation of the food was quite underwhelming. The experience was noticeably worse than my last visit some months ago. The check in process was incredibly slow and we had to wait long to be seated, but fortunately the staff at the table was excellent. The location remains a strong point.

    This $55 endless brunch with $20 bottomless mimosa add on is an insane deal! Full sized portions too! Been trying to get my friend to come but he thought it was bad qaulity since it’s all you can eat but we both agree it’s 10/10!! Connor was great, as well as Walter! The DJ was bumpin! Definitely an LA hot spot!

    The music is too loud! Food is amazing! Waiters attend the table not so frequently and there is a lot of waiting around involved.

    I had a lovely time with my friends celebrating my birthday. The staff was attentive, respectful, and accommodated all our needs. I appreciated the birthday card, complimentary drinks when our table took longer than expected, and how welcomed I felt there. This is definitely a place I want to visit again.
