I went from Ottawa to Toronto just to eat in Laylak and it was so good and delecious and the team especially the manager was so elegant and friendly.

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 45 minutes. My recommendation to order individual dishes instead of the shared menu. Over all experience was nice the food is good. Babeghnoge and muhamra are delicious.

overall, a really basic experience. service was extremely slow. nothing special about this place. mediocre Middle Eastern food at a premium price. We had the kafka kebab, halloumi, and fattoush salad.

Not worth the money - this place is definitely overrated. We ordered the mixed grill and the only thing that met the upscale quality standards was the lamb. The flavorless chicken was totally dry and the tiny assortment of roasted veggies were cold (probably prepared a few hours before). The ambience and design of the restaurant gets totally ruined by annoying and irritating guests constantly taking selfies and pictures of everything around them. Service in general was fairly slow and inattentive even though there was sufficient staff. Bottom line: if you want good food at half the price go to one of the many other Middle Eastern restaurants in town. If you want to take pictures and pretend you’re hip and don’t care about food quality go to Laylak.
