Since 1931 and revived in 2024, Restaurant Ile de France combines old-world French culinary traditions with contemporary Montreal influences in the heart of Downtown.

                                                    Serveuse très compétente et souriante Elle nous a fait visiter la grande salle et nous a donné un bref cours d’histoire!! Nous avons passé un très bel après-midi!!!

                                                    Un bel endroit chargé d’histoire et de souvenirs pour les plus vieux. Une belle découverte pour les plus jeunes. Un beau cadeau pour grand-maman qui a connu Eaton.

                                                    Since it's reopening the 9th floor restaurant remains one of our favorite places to eat. The brunch is excellent. We had pastries to start, mine the fruit(raspberry) tartelette and yellow melon pieces. I ordered the ham benedictine it was delicious and a perfect size the sauce was great. I also had the potatoes a little to much oil for me but very delicious. My companion raved about the omelette and the old fashione bacon. The service was excellent, the great coffee replenished in a timely manner. The prices are a little higher than some places we normally eat at but this is a special place and a wonderful treat on a winter's Sunday.

                                                    This was a very nice evening spent with some good friends. Everything was delightful. Went a few times at this restaurant in the late sixties with my parents…so it was memorable. Will certainly go back!
