Enjoy a taste of France at Le Baratin, 1600 Dundas West, with a unique menu and an enchanting atmosphere.
We offer 2 setting every night; The first dinner service from 5:30 through to 6:30 pm is a maximum of 2 hours dinner experience.
For BRUNCH we do not take reservation - walk-in only, from 10 am till 3:30 pm.
Take an imaginary plane in the evening with the culinary experience of our French inspired menu.
Food prepared at Le Baratin is indeed classic with a modern twist. Classic in a sense of ‘old school’: our sauces are all made in-house, with a veal-based stock. These days, that is very rare.
For Brunch, the Croque Monsieur is a must-have. French peasant, or street food, is uniquely reinvented here.
Our wine list is mid-priced and extensively

                                          A very good meal. I highly recommend the escargot and the lamb shank. However they overcharged us by charging the tax while the tax break was still in effect. It was a 5 star experience outside of that

                                          My second time at Le Baratin and I was blown away once again. This is my favourite restaurant in the city currently. You will see me again for a third time soon. Merci!

                                          Very French, skillfully decorated. Small room - only 10 tables - but not crammed too close. Noisy if you're hard of hearing; sound comes from people having a good time, not house music. Valentines Day fixed menu had plenty of delicious choices. 4 courses for $98 was very reasonable. Servings were generous, imaginative and nicely presented. Servers were helpful and attentive; allergy question handled nicely. Quite a young crowd, it seems. Certainly would come back.

                                          Le Baratin is a good place to go with friends or date. Food is excellent. The owner is really nice too. Price are not expensive for French food. I recommend 10000 times!

                                          Ambience is quaint and cozy. Servers speak French. Food is comforting. Can’t go wrong here. A little bit of Paris in Toronto.

                                          Went on a Monday night. Particularity of that day of the week: cocktails are all at $10, so we tried them out and were very pleased by how balanced and tasty they are. We were not disappointed by the food either, we got the 2 course menu which while on the common and expensive side (in line with similar French restaurants though) gave us a lot of yummy options. The appetizers and steak were delicious. Again compared to other similar French spots this one is very legit and I’d say it’s more authentic than most as well. Ambiance was cozy and noise levels quiet which was so refreshing. Service is amazing too, made us want to come back again.
