Le Pain Quotidien means the daily bread. And to us, that means everything. It’s much more than mere sustenance; it’s a way of life. As our loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant, friends gather around our communal tables to share in the time-honoured tradition of breaking bread.
A block from Central Park, Museum Mile and Mt. Sinai Hospital, our store is located in a culturally diverse section of the Upper East Side, bordering Carnegie Hill on one side and the historic East Harlem neighborhood on the other. Inside, our store features many beautiful design details, from the entrance outfitted with a reclaimed iron gate, to the French doors opening on to 97th Street. Join your neighbors for a coffee at the communal table or take a break from the hospital to relax in our warm, rustic setting.
