フランスのアルプスにある小さな村（クルシュヴェル）で1964年に創業したLe Yacaは、小さなレストランの経営は楽しいだろうと考えたダニエレ・ボードとジェラルドによりオープンが決定したレストランです。友人達がこの計画を知った時、友人達は未来のレストラン経営者達にディナーのためにこの8kmの曲がりくねって凍結した道路を運転してくる人がいると考えるのはおかしいと説得しました。ダニエレとジェラルドは3ヶ月間考え抜いた後、フランス語のフレーズの「il n’y a qu’a le faire」で「やってみよう」の意味の短縮形の「yaca le faire」のオープンを決定しました。彼らは冗談でレストランをLe Yacaと呼んでいましたが、このしゃれとyaca y aller（レッツゴー）から来た「yacaイズム」の創案は、レストランの伝承に貢献したゲストの間では評判の良い名前でした。渡米したダニエレはウィリアムズバーグにLe Yacaをオープンし、2001年にはダニエル・エイビッドによりle Yacaは買収されました。ダニエルはパリの「Le Pre Catelan」や「Lenotre」などの有名な場所のほか、「L’Amandier」、「Roger Verge」、そして全ての先頭に立つ「Alain Ducasse」で勤務と修行を重ねたシェフです。

    Excellent service and food. Wide range of entrees snd the price fixe options were very worthwhile. Atmosphere was excellent.

    The beef and crab dinner was delicious. This is the best restaurant in Williamsburg. The service was excellent. My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Keep up the great work.

    We have been enjoying Le Yaca since they were in a shopping center near Bush Gardens, many years ago. It is still spectacular and Mr. Mimms is wonderful. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

    A truly delightful Valentine's Day dinner: > The lobster/steak entre was excellent, prepared exactly as we requested, and the wine recommendations were perfect pairings. >We were delighted with our server Omar, who was both very professional and delightfully personable -- a wonderful combination. > The ambiance added enormously to our enjoyment: the decorations, including appropriate lighting, "flower petals" on the tables and festive balloons around the dining rooms - and the placement of the tables -- which was uncrowded, but near enough to others that by then end of the evening, wonderful conversations were had among people (previously strangers to each other) sitting at tables nearby one another.

    My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner and our server, Axel, was fantastic. The only distraction was another server at nearby tables who spoke very loudly. Definitely our favorite place to go for special occasions, though!

    What a great night! We were running late from a flight delay and needed up having an amazing time. Escargot, Lobster, Steak and Lamb were amazing. The version of French onion soup was delicious.

    We had a wonderful experience - excellent service at the bar and at our table. Cocktails and our three-course meal were excellent. Our food was very well prepared and nicely plated, from the wine presentation to the bread course, house onion soup, entrées and desserts. Our only wishes are that the bar stools are lower (we almost tipped the stools twice getting on and off) and that there is more of France in the room. We will come back whenever we are celebrating in town!
