A Chinese restaurant, hidden down a Melbourne laneway, off the iconic Flinders Lane dining precinct.

    Very disappointing experience. Of the four dishes we tried, only one (the eggplant) was of better quality than what you'd get at the most basic, and much cheaper, Chinese restaurant. The dumplings honestly tasted store -bought, and both the lamb shoulder and prawn noodles were bland and insipid. On the plus side, the wine was quite good.

    In a brilliant location just off Flinders lane. We were seated upstairs which I assume is the main dining area. It was only 30% full at 8pm. The service team were very charming and they were honest and helped us to ensure we didn't over order. We do have a habit of doing that! The food was tasty and the sweet and sour pork with stir fried rice exceptional. This is not a run of the mill Chinese restaurant and it has a small menu. Some of the seafood prices seemed very expensive but we are from overseas so are maybe out of touch.

    We had the most delicious meal at Lee Ho Fook. Every dish exceeded expectations and was delicious! The only downside for us was the lack of atmosphere. We were seated downstairs where only one other couple were dining. We were not the main dining room of the restaurant. Disappointing, as there was no vibe at all downstairs. We had come from Hobart and were looking forward to a special night out.

    Wonderful and in creative interpretation of Chinese cuisine . Great fun. Lovely setting and excellent service. No sense of pressure to finish within a set time. Recommended.

    The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. Service was warm. Really appreciated the complementary glass of champagne for being a solo diner! The crispy aubergine is famous for a reason! So good!

    Absolutely delicious food! The shellfish were amazing and the crispy eggplant were to die for! We'll need to come back to sample more of the menu!

    With the well known name I known from London I didn’t expect it to be a fusion restaurant and it’s not much to my taste. For the price one pays it’s not quite value for money. I would pay that price I would rather go to Flower Drum anytime! The yuppies may love it but not for traditional Asian guys like me. For me and my family from Asia just take it as an experience. Ambience is rustic like a whole in the wall in an alley.
