A hidden gem off the main strip. The menu may seem small, but it covers all palate hankerings. The share plates, in most cases, can be eaten as a main as I did with the garlic prawns with a chargrilled baquette. The prawns were excellent, a good size and not over cooked, plus had a tasty garlic butter sauce. I was surprised how delicious the baquette was. My partner had the chicken fillet sandwich, very large so he had to eat it with a fork and knife. It had several large breast portions and was excellently cooked, not dry, and had a tasty sauce. The brioche bun it was served in was very good, too. The chef really takes pride in all aspects of the cooking. For dessert we had the vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce and burnt butter bananas which was also delicious, especially because the butterscotch sauce tasted like butterscotch which is often hard to find. The prices were great for the amount of food you get. We were full and happy and the bill was reasonable. Very courteous and attentive service even when the restaurant was busy. We ate at some other popular spots along the main drag the next nights and those just did not compare food portion-wise or taste-wise nor did the other spots have the efficient service. Wished we'd eaten at Leif & Co every night of our vacation. Highly recommended.
