My boyfriend and I came to Lelani during Aurora restaurant week & we were not disappointed. I've wanted to try this restaurant since they opened a few months ago and when I saw their deals during restaurant week we knew now was our time. Typically I would say the prices might be a little high but we were able to order Habachi for $10!! Not only was the price good but the flavors were too. We also ordered the Lumpia appetizer. I love lumpia and was excited to try theres. I will say we will probably skip these on our next visit. They are just so tiny and not filled with a lot of filling. I know they are tradationally small (taquito sized). These were even smaller like little bit thicker than cigarettes so we mainly tasted the crispyness over anything else. We were intrigued about some of the other appetizers so we will try those next time. We also ordered the Land & Sea sushi which is comprised of crab meat, asparagus, avocado & a thinly seared piece of steak. My boyfriend and I thought they were very tasty. The drinks we ordered were very good. I got their version of a espresso martini made with tequila. I was a little skeptical but the tequila was not overwhelming at all and paired surprising well in this drink. My boyfriend was excited to see they had some Japenese beers that he's previously had in Japan so he ordered one of those. Our waitress was very sweet but I think she could have been a little more on top of our service given that it's a nicer dining experience. We weren't given chopsticks at I tried looking for her but didn't see her for 5+ minutes which was a bit odd because there was only a few tables and we were all seated near each other. We ended up eating our sushi with our hands and eventually we asked for them which I know she assumed were already at the table. I also was interested in the dessert options but she just brought our check... better for my waist line anyways. Overall great experience and we will be back!
