Thanks to fellow yelpers, we found this foodie standout on our first night in CA (and we are already scheduling our next meal there!). Lemon & Thyme opened 7 months ago and just had their first seasonal menu change. Lots of favorites are still on the menu. Many staff formerly of SOCIAL are here out of their sheer love of the top notch cuisine. It is creative, flavorful and beautifully presented in a tastefully renovated strip mall restaurant steps away from SOCIAL. Gabriel was our waiter and immediate best foodie friend, helping us choose the most satisfying and perfect amount of selections. Every bite was impressive and it was hard to say goodbye to Gabriel without asking when he was working next. I had the new Airline Chicken which is heavenly with its marscapone mashed potatoes and veloute sauce. Kudos to the chef and the attentive staff. Here, you will enjoy the whole experience and think about it for days to come.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Very cute and quant place in Costa Mesa. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a yummy crème brulee. Would recommend for a romantic dinner or evening with friends or family.

Our waiter was exceptional and really made the whole evening so enjoyable. He was helpful, energetic, respectful and attentive. The food was also delicious with some very unique dishes. So glad we gave Lemon & Thyme a try - it was a lovely dining experience!

The chef 🧑‍🍳 came by to see how it was and it was spectacular! From simple to complex it brought back memories from Italy 🇮🇹 and the whole experience was a joy from start to finish! This place is a gem 💎 in world that is a must. Come with an open heart and that is what you’ll get.

Excellent food. Great service. That said, it would have a better experience if it wasn’t so noisy.

This was my second visits this time bringing a friend for her birthday. This is my now go to restaurant locally. Forget the chain restaurants….everyone loved the meal from the artichoke appetizer to the bread…to the beet salad. Mushroom ravioli diner almost licked his plate. Duck mole was a terrific new dish that I myself devoured. Surf and turf platter left the birthday girl just humming and looking forward to her leftovers. Excellent assistance on the wine selection…..perfect When was the last time you saw a dessert item you have NEVER seen on a menu? Baklava Cheesecake! Wait What? We were in! Spectacular surprise that we all agreed was one of the best desserts we could remember. Another bonus they serve coffee drinks! Love them! A nice latte or americano to go with dessert to wrap up our dining experience. From the music playlist to the staff, would not change a thing.

Awesome little restaurant! It's a fairly small place tucked in a corner in 19th and Harbor. We ordered the Soup du jour (a fantastic porcini mushroom bisque), the gambas al ajillo, the pork belly & black garlic BBQ sauce, their filet mignon and lobster tail surf and turf, and topped with with their homemade Cuban coffee ice cream. Their lobster is quite possibly among the best I've ever had! The staff are really attentive and friendly. Our server, Robert, made sure we had everything we needed, despite how busy it was given it was Valentine's day. Definitely going to have to come back to try out their other dishes in the future, as well as their brunch menu.

We've eaten at a LOT of restaurants, domestically and abroad. Lemon & Thyme is, hands down, the best we've ever encountered. The striped sea bass was excellent and the dessert, baklava cheese cake, was indescribably delicious. The waiter, Gabriel, was so accommodating and attentive, we immediately felt at home. We will be going back. Frequently.
