Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette (LKRO) prides itself in it’s Oyster Bar. The multiple use seating at and around the Oysterette is inviting and friendly. The huge oyster, fresh seafood and whole fish display showcases seasonality and the vastness of the seafood offerings at LKRO. A traditional Japanese Robata Grill and a vertical 'Trompo' Grill are part of the Oysterette’s flexibility in a small space making the 'mini-kitchen' capable of producing freshly shucked oysters, grilled oysters, sushi, seafood towers and fresh carved tacos.

Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.

    Soo I made appoint 4 days in advanced for reservation at 930 they I got there at 9:22 and they didn’t sit me till 1045 but why call me the day before to double check if I’m coming and I till you I’m coming all called to tell them I be there by 930 and they said we will be waiting for you and your table will be ready non of this happen

    Liberty Kitchen was not up to the challenge of a Valentines Friday. Service was spotty, the food was average, and it seemed the whole place was confused.

    We went for the Valentine special. They brought our food out, and I saw the waiter divert the food runner with our two plates of steak and lobster. I though it was strange. Then when they brought the food about 5 minutes later, it was cold and overcooked. I'm not sure exactly why they did that but a medium steak turn out very well done. Then they took one of the meals back. It took about 25 minutes for it to come back. It was better, but we ate two separate meals on Valentine's dinner... Its a good thing she loves me!

    Overcooked lobster, recook took too long, had to take it to go Didn’t get any accommodation for spending $250 and didn’t get to eat

    This was the 2nd time I’ve been there for a special occasion and it did not disappoint! Jason is an amazing server. What a great night. Such good food.

    Food was good for the most part. We had a grilled board that included oysters mussels and scallops. The deviled eggs and lobster dynamite roll. Both agreed the roll was dry and our least favorite. The drinks were good, can’t recall the cocktail name but see photo and a glass of Riesling, only one on the menu.
