                  Service was very good, nice rustic charm on entering the pub with warm woodburner on. Friendly staff. Only down side told don’t serve decaffeinated coffee which was quickly sorted otherwise nice evening.

                  Subject: Disappointing Experience at The LindenTree Pub I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to The Linden Tree Pub for my husbands birthday meal. As regular customers, we were looking forward to celebrating, but the experience fell well short of expectations. Firstly, we were surprised to find the menu was completely different from what is advertised on your website. This was misleading and frustrating, especially since some of our party had been looking forward to dishes that were no longer available. There was no steak on offer, which was extremely disappointing, which was advertised on the menu , the waiter took our order soon to return and advise they had no streak . This limited what my husband’s choice of meal would be . To make matters worse, the bar did not even have martini available, which further limited options for our celebration. As for the food, the vegetarian burger was underwhelming, lacking any real flavor or effort. When we asked about coleslaw, we were told it was not suitable for vegans, which seemed odd given the growing demand for inclusive vegan options. The lemon chicken meal , was extremely bland and not tasty at all . The entire experience felt like a waste of money, and we left feeling let down on what should have been a special occasion. We raised our concerns while paying the bill, but our complaint was brushed off without any meaningful acknowledgment or apology. Unfortunately, after this experience, we wont be returning. As loyal customers, we expected better. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for others in the future.

                  Food was good on the whole but disappointing menu for a vegetarian. It was busy and I think this meant that we waited a long time for dessert .

                  Linden Tree was very warm and comfortable venue. Been many times previously and there was a change of menu with loads of choices. Would like to have seen at least one pasta dish, ie lasagne, carbonra type. Staff were very good.

                  This is definitely a pub experience in every aspect at top prices not worth it . We ordered an expensive rib eye steak and when requested horse radish sauce we were told by the time he brought it from the main building your meal would be cold . When I complained he apologised and went for it with a smile to be fair . Our doggie table was close to the bar with groups of people standing next to us not intimate at all .

                  This was an average experience! Food was average, very small menu with some gluten free choices-although these were t obvious so you had to ask. We found it over priced. £18-32 for a main course. Drinks were v expensive too

                  No issue with food. Service really bad, poor communication, mistakes made, no beer when ordered, no water on the Thursday, ice cream order wrong with no explanation given. No offer of custard with sticky toffee pudding. Waitress whipped away ice cream without finding out what was wrong. Charged for beer I never got, this was rectified. Managers need to be visible and sort out issues.
