Little Bull is sincere, nostalgic comfort food, inspired by the palates of first-generation immigrant kids.

Pocho cuisine is not a gimmick. Like Oscar, it’s a little bull-headed, but with no bullshit. It means more than loaded terms like “New American” or “modern Mexican.” And it’s authentic to Chef’s personal experience.

“American food is undefined. But it’s been designated to certain ideas and people. It’s actually evolving, as much as our landscape is a melting pot. As much as my own identity as a first-generation American and chef.”

Pocho started as a term used by people in Mexico to poke fun at the “American” kids who speak Spanglish. At Little Bull, pocho cuisine showcases the evolution of being a chef in America, inspired by every immigrant and their growing influence on our food.

Delicious food. Good service and friendly staff. Nice and unique decor. Very loud and some tables very close together.

The food was incredible, every dish! We had to box up our last large sized dish. Drinks and food recommendations were on point! We had a very nice NYE dinner with our family. It is a little loud, but still great and funky chic environment.

My new favorite restaurant in Durham. Beautiful menu, lots of choices and modifications, all labeled GF or can be made vegan, lovely presentation, everything is delicious. The pescatarian options are outstanding. The servers and bartenders are so welcoming and friendly. Love the ambiance as well. We can’t wait to go back.

Love the food and vibe. Was taking a friend from out of town and wanted him to experience little bull! Only minus is that since it’s a smaller space, it gets loud and can’t hear that well unless you talk really loudly.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Durham, and we’ve done a lot of eating here! Our group tried 10 different plates from across the menu and had several drinks— it’s a rare occasion when NOTHING disappoints!! The service is also great. It’s top notch but not pretentious at all… very fun and knowledgeable. We love Tony the bartender. He had awesome recommendations and was on his game.

Food was amazing as always. One minor suggestion is to taste food before its send out. Tony, our waiter was wonderful! He was suggesting great options and was knowledgeable about every single dish/ingredient! Cant wait to go back!
