The food was good We shared 3 plates which we found to be quite filling. I recommend the octopus, very tasty. The only issues we found were that our waiter was not attentive at all ( he seemed to just want to rush us to order and to get us out so not as relaxing as we hoped) and when looking over our bill there was a charge to “tip” the kitchen staff. When I asked about it I was told that even though they make more than the minimum wage at this restaurant, they include it in every bill so you are tipping your waiter on top of that too. She said that she would remove it as I didn’t think it was right to add it on.

Still one of the best places to eat, try the steak tartare, caviar sandwich and don’t miss out on the grilled octopus. A fantastic time with one of the most fantastic people.

Each dish and drink was unique, creative and delicious. The manti, brussel sprouts, octopus and BLTs were crowd pleasers! Excited to come back. Staff also was very accommodating to my request of surprising my friends at dessert with bridesmaid proposal gifts.

Quality and presentation of the food were disappointing - certainly relative to sister restaurants. Particularly disappointing was the wagyu beef cheek, which was dry and served on a bed of cold rice, as well as the scallops, which were overly briny and overwhelmed by what appeared to be mayonnaise. Cocktails were good, as was the salmon crudo. Generally, however, this was unfortunately disappointing— I haven’t been in quite some time but had fond memories of Little Donkey from several years prior.
