シェアをお願いしたらちゃんとメインを2皿で持ってきてくれました。こういうサービスをきちんとしてくれるレストランは少ないので、貴重です。ワインのセレクトも良かったです。

Always a pleasure! From the moment you enter Little Owl, a wonderful evening begins with a warm and sincere greeting. The menu isn’t huge but has such variety that you’ll have a difficult time choosing. It’s Dry January but fear not - a sophisticated list of mocktails are on offer. The room is cozy and romantic yet casual and welcoming. Neighbourhood-y in the very best way. Service is attentive - not too much yet not too little. A fave for us every time we are in NYC.

Wonderful evening celebrating my daughter’s birthday with her friends. Everyone was very impressed with the food and the service. The friends are already making plans to take their parents back for a meal. I can’t say enough about the green beans, delicious!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Little Owl. Everything was delicious. Calling out the meatball sliders, the sesame string beans, the crispy chicken and the pear crisp. They have a lovely friendly staff with a special care to details. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation

I made online reservations for Little Owl on Wednesday, January 15th, to celebrate my partner's birthday. I've been a loyal customer since the restaurant opened, and it's our special occasion spot. However, upon arrival, the host informed us that my reservation was for the adjoining location next to Little Owl. I was completely unaware that there were two separate sites when I made the reservation. While the adjoining location is nice, it doesn't compare to the charm of the main dining room. After sharing my long history of dining at Little Owl, we were reluctantly offered a small table in the corner by the door. I inquired about a larger vacant table, but the host stated it was reserved for three people. Shortly after, another couple came in and took the table I had asked about for our celebration. Although we enjoyed our meal and the birthday festivities, I was disappointed that Little Owl didn't recognize my loyalty as a frequent diner and that I wasn't given the larger table. Moving forward, I will contact Little Owl directly to ensure I get the preferred seating instead of relying on online reservations. This experience does not reflect the reputation I know Little Owl to have. Michael

We had a fantastic night out, re-uniting with a few friends. The waiter was outstanding giving perfect recommendations. We had a 8:30 pm reservation, and over the course of our meal, the restaurant became pleasantly quiet. It was a truly memorable and special night for us, thank you.

This little jewel is my favorite restaurant in New York. The food is innovative, the wines are chosen with care, the service is utterly professional but disarmingly friendly. I feel at home here. Attention old folks--it's a bit noisy. I usually try to eat in the TLO room, because it's brighter and quieter; but they were holding a private party there last night so we sat in the main dining room, which was fine. Little Owl's menu (and wine list) is continually changing with dishes dictated by the season. Vegetarians will find myriad choices. Last night we both started with what was described as "Lobster Bisque." I did not detect any cream in the soup, so I'm not sure it was technically a bisque. What it was was the most delicious, intense soupe de poisson I've had in America--studded with lobster, the broth clearly given depth by the lobster shells, the flavors sprightly and complex with just the right hint of pepper. Please, please, please keep making this soup. We followed with the fish of the day--fluke--pan sautéed and placed on top of a delicate parmesan risotto all in a divine shellfish sauce; and the magnificent grilled rack of lamb--beautifully charred, well-seasoned lamb chops that melted on the tongue like butter. We drank a Sicilian red that easily stood up to the powerful flavors. And our waiter brought us a side dish of sautéed sesame green beans--crunchy and spicy, with the flavors of the green beans, the sesame, and the oyster sauce each distinct but beautifully harmonized. Chinatown could take a lesson. All in all, another lovely evening at Little Owl.
